Ever wanted to own your own resort, play host and meet the many guests who come to stay. Here is your chance.

This story stands alone, but most of the characters you may have previously met in the Appetites series, also known as Catering With Benefits. It is not necessary to have read the previous books but is recommended.

We start with the characters resident at the property known as Crystalline. Along the way new characters are introduced and eventually they open a resort at the property. Many people come to stay at the resort and tell their own stories.

Parker Frazier attends Somerset High School, a suburban white school. Over the weekend, a fight breaks out during a basketball game against an inner-city school. Tempers flared, and racial epithets were shouted. On Monday, protesters appeared outside the school. One young man caught Parker's attention. While driving home after school, he witnessed a police officer brutally arrest the young man he saw earlier that morning. Parker videotaped it with his phone and posted it on Facebook. He was not prepared for what happened next.

A young boy tries to live his life, that becomes an emotional roller coaster. But...can one really call this a life?

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Playground - the biggest and wildest competition featuring your favorite stars. Over the next seven days, ten celebrities will be living in our Playground Mansion and competing in a variety of games. But they better hold nothing back, because there can only be one winner! Life has been very hard for me these past few months, with the Covid Virus quickly spreading around the world, which had resulted in the shutting down of a lot of businesses due to quarantine restrictions, and which resulted in me loosing me job and soon after my rental home of the past four years. Although I was single, gay and have no close family, with my parents killed in a train crash while on holidays when I was seventeen, and my two older siblings, Melissa and Trenton, not wanting to know me because of my sexuality, but I had managed to complete my high school education with high grades.

The plan was simple: survive high school and get the hell out of his hometown.

Alec Kennedy failed miserably.

He fell in love. Unfortunately, he still carried out his plan and left town. Leaving his first love behind.

Years later, Alec's forced to return home to deal with an unexpected family emergency.

There was a new plan: desperately try to avoid his former partner.

He failed miserably again.

There seems to be a pattern here.

Charlie and the guys are looking to spend some peaceful time before Halloween, catching up with old friends on the dark planet Engris. But a sudden emergency grabs their attention, and before they know it they are off on a new adventure , traveling to a place they never thought they would see...not while they were still alive!

What else is there to do when your friends are having premarital sex in your car, then to visit the gravesite of a witch in an abandoned ghost town. What if ghost town wasn't actually a cliché?

This is Ian and Kevin's story it is part of the Lost Souls series and part of The Boot World.

Ian and Kevin have moved into their new house, they have a good future to look forward to if everything works out how they have planned.

As part of the Lost Souls Series and The Boot World readers may benefit from reading the other stories previously published, although it isn't necessary it could help you to enjoy this story more.
