Tristan's High School Life - 52. Chapter 52
TJ's POV
"Where are they?" I asked telepathically.
"On a private jet headed to New York," Hunter replied.
"How do you know?" I asked.
"I've been listening to their conversations. They have been using a drug to keep Tristan knocked out," Hunter said.
"That explains why he hasn't reached out," I said.
"Everything ok, TJ?" Rory asked
"Everything is fine. I need as much information as possible on these guys," I said.
Hunter's POV
While dad grilled Rory, I was developing a plan. Blowing up the plane would raise suspicion, or could I find a way to do it without doing so.
"Any ideas?" Jamie asked, pacing the room.
"Would you sit still," Katie commanded loudly, startling everyone.
"Here you go, Hunter," Mattie said as he appeared and handed me the vial.
"You can be sneaky," Jamie snickered.
"Only when you aren't around; I'm stealthy like a fox," Mattie retorted.
"More like a sloth," Katie said, giggling.
"You wonder why I like to work alone," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Sorry," they said in unison.
"We need to hit them in the air. We need to make sure Brooks, Miles, Tristan, and Xander are safe. Leave the bad guys to me," I said with an evil smile.
"What about the Senator?" Mattie asked.
"Leave him to Tristan and Dad," I said.
"Jamie and Mattie, you get the guy who shared the details about Rory," I said.
"Katie, I need you to go give Tristan medical attention and let the others know that we got them," I said.
"Do I even want to know?" Katie asked.
"I need one more thing from you; when you hear the word go, make sure these two bozos help get the others off the plans," I said.
They left as I began to formulate my strategy. I was sitting at the kitchen island when Dad and Daddy appeared.
"Tell us the plan," Dad asked.
"I'm still working it out, but Dad, you need to help Tristan with the Senator," I said.
"That man is going to regret the day he was born," Daddy said with a hearty laugh.
"Not far from the truth," Dad said, laughing.
"I have Katie healing Tristan to get the medicine out of his system. I have the bozo's, I mean Mattie and Jamie with her, on standby," I said.
"How many?" Dad asked.
"Bodies? 16," I said.
"That's going to be a high number," Dad replied, and Daddy nodded in agreement.
"We have to stop them, or they'll strike again," I said. "Mattie and Jamie have instructions to get the snitch."
"You figured it out?" Dad asked.
"I sure did; it wasn't too hard once I started digging," I said with a leer.
I teleported aboard the plane and saw everyone was awake, but the captors didn't notice anything suspicious.
"It's showtime," I said, and my siblings got everyone out. I cracked my knuckles.
One of the captors turned around, "Holy crap, we got a stowaway."
"Wrong," I said. "You picked the wrong family."
They all started laughing, and one of them held up his gun.
"Not going to work," I said smartly.
"Oh yeah," he taunted. He pulled the trigger, and much to his surprise, the gun didn't fire. "What the hell."
Using a new power I've recently discovered, I used mind control and took over the pilot. I increased our speed and altitude.
"You won't be going home anytime soon," I said. "I wouldn't try to move either; it won't work."
Over on the other side of town; Tristan's POV
"Now that I have both boys, I'm pretty sure that TJ and Ben will play ball," Caruthers said to his aide.
"Unseating a Mayor has been unheard of, but he needs to go," the aid said.
"Once's he has gone, we get his brother off the court. We'll need something scandalous to use; we need to make it good. I'll also need to find folks who had Jackson or Tracy as a teacher and get the sexual harassment suits flowing. I also need to bankrupt that stupid Shepard Tower. " Caruthers spat.
"It's almost time for the flight to get in, and you have your appointment with Patrick Worthington," the aide said.
"Ah yes, the next Mayor of New York," Carruthers said.
I shared a glace with TJ; we should have known Cam's dad was partially behind this. We waited for Patrick and the aide to come back. I reached out to Hunter, and he said the plane was on course for an epic disaster.
TJ froze time outside the office so we wouldn't have interference. I could hear the men talking on the other side of the door, and TJ and I shared a nod, and then I blew the door off its hinges.
"What the hell," Caruthers shouted as TJ and I walked in.
"Not expecting me," I asked.
"We tried to let your receptionist know we were here, but she seems a bit frozen," TJ said.
"What's the meaning of this," Caruthers shouted.
"What? Don't recognize me?" I asked, and he shook his head no. "Your goons kidnapped me."
"You're Tristan? The plane hasn't landed," Caruthers said.
"Correction, it won't be making its way back," I spat. "You messed with the wrong person. Where are you going, Porky?" I said as the aide tried to make a run for it, but he bounced back into the room when he got to the doorway.
"You see, my son has hijacked your plane," TJ said. "We control the narrative now."
"Exactly," I said. "So, Mr. Worthington, I know all about you and the Senator. Tsk tsk, you both are a waste of skin, homophobes by day and lovers by night, and Porky, I know you were friends with Richard, so don't get me started."
"You know Richard," the aide questioned.
"I knew his wife, and let's say she kept meticulous records," I said.
"What? How?" he stuttered.
"Magic," I said, throwing my hand up and blew a cloud of dust.
"It's too bad you won't be around to see the aftermath of your downfall," TJ said.
"You and what army?" Caruthers said, laughing.
"Don't need an army," I said venomously.
"First things first," TJ said.
"Ah, my signature move," I said. "When the medical examiners do your autopsies, they will find that you all are eunuchs. Secondly, your entire personal life will be all over the news and all the quid pro quos and sexual favors, including all your male pages, Senator."
"You can't," Caruthers sputtered.
"Watch me," I said and snapped my fingers, and all of us were on the plane.
"Professor Greenly, David, what are you doing here," Caruthers said.
"Not sure; we just appeared here," Greenly said.
"You're here because you're a snitch," I said.
"A low-class scum bag," Hunter said. "When I did some digging about who could have told Rory's secret, I came back to you and David."
"What's the connection," Dad asked.
"David was Rory's roommate and Greenly's TA," Hunter said. "When Greenly divorced, then married David. When Rory made a name for himself, these two sat in the wings and waited for the right moment. When Caruthers found out you were helping Ben, he was desperate, and that's where they all came together. You see, Patrick here is the common denominator. He knows Greenly and Caruthers. He also has a deep hatred of you and CC."
"I see," TJ said.
"Gentlemen, this is where we depart. Would you please give my regards to Richard," I said?
"My mother, as well," TJ said and vanished.
"Gentlemen, enjoy the trip," Hunter said with a sinister laugh, and we both vanished.
"What's going to happen?" I asked.
"Oh, just wait and see," Hunter said with a huge smile.
