I'm not an otter nor even a pup.

I like to hunt and stalk my prey,

And chase them down my own fun way.

A label will not cover me;

This Wolf is unique as can be.

I feel the same way....I'm not big enough/hairy enough to be a bear...too old for a cub....too big for an otter.....nowhere near a pup....I want to go hunting with you Wolf.....I think we could hunt well together ;) you'll see I make a great Beta hehehe

I'm usually told I'm too small to even be a cub or otter.  I've had people try to call me pup because of my name, so I show them I'm no pup ;)  Bet you would be fun to hunt with.

Thank you, JP.  I'm having fun with the poetry aspect of writing.  I know I still have a lot to learn, but that's also have the fun.  Looking back over this one, feels like I was having a Dr Seuss moment ;)

Great poem. Your refusal of each convenient label simply makes you more of who you are. And the feel is light and confident. Really well done.

Thank you Parker :)  I'd been out with friends and labels were being discussed for everyone in the club.  I don't really fit into any of the groups that were being discussed and I don't want to be labeled.  I'm me and me is all there is.
