I've been wondering if and how religious cults in the US can be eliminated. Unfortunately, it's not simple at all because of the 1st Amendment. Thus, outright banning would be unconstitutional unless it was amended to allow cults to be banned. I got a new cooker today because the last one literally fell apart. I've been holding the over door closed with a paint tin for some time and last week the whole thing died. Habitat for Humanity

I'll be working for Habitat for Humanity for spring break '11 in Winter Haven, Florida. We get a pit stop in Atlanta, and we also get that Friday off to go to Daytona Beach.   No alcohol, which is a bummer, but overall I'm really excited. On the edge, again

Because I had two accidents last month, I had to come to HQ today to do a road evaluation. The good news is I passed the range evaluation, which is moving the big truck and trailer through a series of very tight spots, do a straight line back, and negotiate an incredibly tight right turn.   The bad news is I failed the road evaluation. Losing peers

Long time no read, eh? Well, no news to talk about, really... though... latest developments have forced me to write a new post today.   One of the ways how to measure you're old is that you start losing your peers. Instead of meeting in the pub at some get-together you meet at the funerals... Back, again

Been in roamingland for the past few days. I could get online, but could only do one site at a time before being forgotten. It says you're connected, but you can't connect. The only solution is to pull the card, get the software to stop thinking it's still connected (end of process in Task Manager seems to do the trick), and start over, all the time hoping the software has actually acknowledged that it was disconnected and isn't thinking it still is, or worse, suddenly decides it's going to try

Chaos

It's been chaos for the past week or so, and it's been getting to me. I've been going hardcore style with school trying to finish up my MCSA certification and work full time (rather 50+ hour weeks). It's been stressful but what can I say, I've gotten used to it.   What I haven't gotten used to however is the self-centered additude that I've been experiencing with my mother.
