Victoria, British Columbia. I've been there once, when I was a sophomore in high school. I've been meaning to go back, but haven't made it yet. There are lots of museums and gardens.

His name was Chuck. He was a parakeet. Blue. Actually, there were two Chucks. One when I was growing into a teenager and another when our son was growing into a teenager. Funny how that worked out.

Oh my. So many to choose from! I'd have to say the Airbus A300-600ST Super Transporter "Beluga."

Usually it carries parts for smaller planes, but it can be chartered, as CNES has done, and for the ISS.

Ernest Hillier -- good Australian chocolate (though I'm also very partial to Lindt chocolate).

A nice leisurely walk along a beach with the deep rumble of the surf, that soft crackling sound of pebbles being washed along, the raucuous call of a gull, a flight of terns wheeling over the waves, a distant squall line freshening the air, and that beautiful feeling of inner peace.
