First Happy B-day!

Now as for CJ and Owen, yeah they make a great pair and Chipper may be correct ... all good things in time. But keep in mind CJ is a 16 yearold boy. His reasoning makes sense to him even as the rest of us question it. He can't always behave like a mature adult, and matters of the heart are the most likely area in which to display his youth.

I expected the rotten behavior from Bernardo but still have hopes that J-M is going to display some balls. He and his cousin may have shared another boy in the past but this is CJ. A supposed friend and schoolmate. If harm should come to CJ it will get out and when it does there will be nowhere safe for J-M to hide from the Walls Posse. The fallout for CJ could be devastating but it could be equally so for Jose. He would be unwelcome at Walls and his father, a minor diplomate, could quickly become persona nongrata and expelled as well as censured by the foreign diplomatic corps, remember CJ is well liked but the Australian ambassdor. Returning home under such a cloud would greatly limit the family. Such behavior among men is not approved of in Venezuela.

My own thought is that after CJ is drugged but before serious harm occurs J-M will summon help in the form of a certain doorman or barring that the doorman on duty will realize CJ is in danger and intercede. Okay Carlos you can now resume telling the story ...

By the way, this was an exvellent chapter.

I have to say Dugh this is a well bought out hypothesis. I hadn't factored the Walls Posse into the equation, but as far as M-J is concerned, this would pose the biggest threat to his well being. I wouldn't want to be the one confronted by an enraged Harley - and enraged he would be. Then there are all the influential political connections CJ has - so we have the dads, the Elite, the Walls Posse, the Australian Ambassador, Senator Rubio. Oh and let's not forget Colonel and Mrs. Edwards either. Oh boy, if Bernardo only knew...

True, but CJ is young and experienced when it comes to matters of the heart. He didn't set out to steal Owen's heart it just happened. Our boy is not that kinda guy after all.

That sounds like a good twist, but would Sean have a reason to be in the same orbit as these three? As well, even if he happened to be at the same dinner as them (can't remember if he is a porno star or an escort), I think from what has already been said that the drugging is to take place at the apartment. Therefore, Sean would not be around.

 

Then again, I'd bet that Sean could spot a dirtbag of Bernardo's ilk from a mile away. So, if he is at the dinner, he likely would intervene.

 

Carlos, are we encroaching the boundaries of a fairytale with this hypothesis?

Sorry I've not been around a lot the past few days. Been dealing with family stuff and my time at the computer has been minimal. I've read all the comments on my phone but I won't even try replying on that thing. I still miss rotary phones, my fat fingers have problems with those tiny keys.

 

I'll be in and out for a few more days but I'll post the next chapter today and set it to publish at the proper time on Friday. There will be NO interruptions. Lie's getting in the way but my commitment to my readers is important and I take it seriously. Means I have to scramble a bit and socialize a tad less but the show will go on.
