Keep quiet, Buck! You're gonna ruin my reputation. Next thing you know readers are gonna be expecting the kids to find significant others, be angst ridden, and start spending time at the mall!

Hmmm thought that was in tatters a looooooooong time ago.   However too much angst and well ... i dont do teenage angst well.

I don't think we have to worry, Carlos doesn't  do angst. He may teeter on the edge but will never fall in .

Yeah, I did feel that one. It was a sad moment....

 

Edit: oops, I was thinking of Owen's Grandpa Jack. Should read more carefully...

I want the chapter where Sean decides it is Okay for a little girl(me) on boy play.. Then CJ can end up with whomever.. I won't complain.. Until then, the red head is off the table... -_-

I think that would provoke a very interesting reaction from young CJ 

 

My impression is that CJ's "not my boyfriend" routine is more of an intellectual stance rather than an emotional one. It would interesting to see CJ's response to Brad and Pat talking about the revolving door in Owen's bedroom. Ok ok it wouldn't be a revolving door but you know what I mean. 

 

Or worse than that, hearing about Eli and Owen hooking up  :devil:

On behalf of Def and myself, I would like to apologize to all of the readers of the CJ series. We are both keeping Carlos busy writing our own supplementary chapters and we promise to release him form his chains as soon as he has finished. The good news is that Def has not had to break his legs... yet...

Eli should be in basic training right now. Remember he's going to be a marine just like Papa Brett! Maybe he'll end up at DC's Marine Barracks and be on call?

CJ and Em seem to be using the same play book. Reading him saying he's not my boyfriend cracked me up!

 

Also, I went back and checked the school year calendar. I was wrong and I'm adjusting accordingly. For the rest of you, I'm talking about :X

Eli comes over to visit Cap to get some Marine mentoring and ends up next door with the trainee lawyer :)

Across the crowded room,  Spike, the hungry to be loved waiter, sees a vision with a high and tight haircut (no not Brett, he's not a poacher  -_- ) moving with a purpose as he enters the restaurant.

 

And there you have it folks, the story of when Spike first laid eyes on his man. :yes:

I'm betting on Eli and his newly honed Marine skills to obliterate any contenders (not literally of course).

I'm outta likes... But with all these little side stories we will never be out of material for CJ and his adventures. Carlos is going to be in chains at the keyboard forever..

I traded text messages with my BFFs in NYC yesterday. I haven't been in NY since 2010 when I was up there for her son's bar mitzvah. So I'm thinking of going up for a week in January. Told her I need to do research for the story and she offered me one of her bedrooms since the daughter has moved out and her son's away at school. This is good since the apartment the guys own in the UES is in her building! Wanna have cocktails if I do? Maybe at PRIME? :D

I traded text messages with my BFFs in NYC yesterday. I haven't been in NY since 2010 when I was up there for her son's bar mitzvah. So I'm thinking of going up for a week in January. Told her I need to do research for the story and she offered me one of her bedrooms since the daughter has moved out and her son's away at school. This is good since the apartment the guys own in the UES is in her building! Wanna have cocktails if I do? Maybe at PRIME? :D

It's all relative. If I'm in NYC I'll have to go to Short Hills to see my brother. You would be part of the NJ portion of the trip. We'll talk as soon as I have a better idea. Since I'd fly up a lot depends on wheels available.

In case anyone's interested: CJ and the dads are growing beards again. It's No Shave November!

The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

That they do. And it's not always about large amounts of money. Sometimes acknowledging something to raise awareness about it is plenty.
