I went thru a stretch where I didn't sleep more than 2 or 3 hours a night. No pain, no help from otc supplements like melatonin, nothing the doc could find. He gave me an rx sleep aid it took exactly 2 pills. Seems I got up in the middle of the night, drove to the 24 hr grocery, then cooked before going back to bed, all with no recollection of my time. Angel is right, insomnia sucks! 4

Probably a mixture of the two. 1

Popular Post kbois Posted March 11, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 11, 2022 We have a new mid-month report at work. It's 24 pages. With the other documentation I have to add, this month's ended up being 46 pages with only one move in the past two weeks since the end of month report. They're trying to either kill us managers or all of the trees in North America. My new manager and the owner were here for two short days. My to-do list has grown to about 3 miles long. No wonder my blood pressure was sky high the past couple of days. I need to take a step back and chill. If I can find 5 minutes to do so. Hope everyone has a good day and a good weekend. 3 2 1

kbois Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 At the gym this morning I hit a playlist I haven't listened to in a while. The first song? Cher- If I Could Turn Back Time 🤦♀️🤣 I don't usually mind the time change thing but I'm not liking losing an hour of my only day off. 😒 Have a good day and stay warm! 4
Popular Post kbois Posted March 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 17, 2022 Actual conversation this evening with mu hubby who is up in Mass visiting his mom. Phone rings: Me: Hey!! Hubs: Hey, just wanted to check on you, make sure you're OK and if there's any damage. Me: *screws up face trying to figure out what the hell he is talking about* Ummm, what kind of damage? (Brain was my first go-to) Hubs: from the tornado! Me: *crickets chirping for several seconds* Where? Hubs: (sighing now) In Sar-a-so-ta (says slowly like I should know this) Me: What part of Sar-a-so-ta? (He should have known this would be my next question there's a lot of square miles including city and county) Hubs: I don't know. Me: rolls eyes and quickly Googles "Sarasota tornado" Ahhh....actual information. An F1 touched down just north of downtown and was caught on camera. It damaged the roof of a warehouse and a lot of branches were down. No injuries. It hit one of the streets I go down on my way to work. I noticed nothing out of the ordinary on my way home. Usually after a storm there it's like an obstacle course trying not to run over a gazillion palm fronds. Nada, at least no more than the usual errant frond. So my Hubs up in Mass gets the news of a tornado where we live before I have any clue. Go figure. Goes to show you how often I check the news nowadays. Lol. Have a good night and Happy St. Patty's Day tomorrow! 2 5
Site Moderator Reader1810 Posted March 17, 2022 Site Moderator Posted March 17, 2022 @kbois Love your new avi and glad to hear you didn't become Dorothy 2.0. As for hubby? He was just worried about you, which is really sweet, imo. You being oblivious to Natty's mayhem: adorkable! 3 1
Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted March 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) LOL. Wow. Okay, so my week just got funny. Was in my home office, on a call with our Public Health Department. This particular guy is the head of their labs and an important figure in healthcare in our area. Anyway, we finish up, and he sorta smirks at me. "Looks like you're ready for your workout." "Huh?" He laughed and said "Oh, nevermind. Talk to you later." The call ended, and I stood up. Behind me, I noticed my workout clothes hanging from the closet door. Along with a bright red jock. I had a mortified moment but then had to laugh. Always check your background, folks! Something about this post bothered me. No, it wasn't the bright red jock. Nor was it your shocked mortification. That cracked me up. It finally dawned on me. Your workout clothes were hanging on the door??!!! **scratches head** Please tell me they were just draped over the door and not on hangers, cuz that was my first thought. If so, what kind of alien are you?? Do you iron your t-shirts? And the bright red jock too? 🤣🤣 Thanks for making my day Wayne! 😘 1 5

I’m a filthy animal, and I get sweaty as hell then hang my shorts and shirt (and jock!) on the corner so they don’t get mildewy and worse than they already do. Speaking of which, it’s laundry time for them! 5
