Good morning folks....

Been a long couple of days.  Joints started hurting Thursday with the storms moving in; was home all day on Friday; and yesterday was the rain. Started off/on in morning and afternoon, then merged into a continuous line of strong storms with quick spin up tornadoes, strong wind, and hail.

Thankfully, we missed everything really severe here, but there were a few that went just to our W or SE that came way to close.  Sixteen confirmed tornadoes in the state last night so far -- that number will go up as the day goes on and they review damage in more areas.  Tornadoes at night are a really scary thing. At least in the day you can normally see them.

Thankfully, only two confirmed deaths at the moment (same area).

Sleep for me this morning.

Had an invitation to brunch but my GI issues are keeping homebound today.  How ever will I pass the time?

Woohoo! Two days in a row off! No barn, no customers, I didn't even do any chores! Hardest thing I did all weekend was decide what to eat.

Good morning. Not sure how i feel about this one.

Some people may have no real choice, some of us are happy with the sameness of life, rather than what we had before.

Robin is a Canadian ex-lawyer turned motivational /life expert after giving up law at 25. I am sort of suspicious of these life experts who at the grand old age of 25 give up their career to write about how people should live.

Same. I think back on what I thought I knew at 25 and what I see my son knows now....and I don't think that's life coach material.

Maybe. He's not 25 now and seems to make money with his books and other things, but like judging a film by its box office, how much you make is no guarantee of quality.

However, I haven't read his books or heard him speak.

Yeah good news, the insurance company finally paid out.

A few weeks before work starts, but hall re-plastered where the leak was, the hall re-decorated and a new carpet.

Happy Wednesday ...  i'm a bit on edge after not sleeping long enough (not because i didn't try), and i have a headache and i'm going for an extraction at the dentist in a couple of hours, so this one just isn't working for me.. but maybe it's good for one of you..

Finally saw the dentist after being rescheduled 4 times since Thursday.

 

Bad news I will not get the repaired teeth back till Saturday at the earliest.

 

Good news, no charge. They absolutely agreed that this one is on the lab, they should have outlasted the rest of my natural teeth.

 

Any suggestions for soft easy to eat without any molars meals?
