As some know, i've been sick...that is sicker than my usual sicknesses that don't go away. i'm grumpy from being sick this week and don't feel like my bouncy self. I don't even want a donut.

Here's some junk i've been making... i just washed these wool socks and don't have a sock form to dry them on so they look a little weird..  

 

This is part of a small lace scarf i've just finished. It's made from lace or aka fingering weight yarn..wool..

If thats a 1" sq layout board, why were you making socks for the Jolly Green Giant? Those are HUGE!

I made them for men's size 42 or US size 9, they fit me perfectly. It's Knit Picks Hawthorne sock yarn, made on five 2.25mm double pointed needles. A total of 64 stitches over 4 needles. They are the right size for me.  The squares are 1", you're right.

Well I've had a fascinating few weeks.

Three days before we go on holiday, two tonic-clonic epileptic seizures. So Two days off School (work) sick. Find out on the last day of term School doesn't want me back. Luckily I work for a company that provides staff for Schools, so I got a new school after the Easter holidays.

Off we go on two week holidays to Crete, four days of which I spend ill in bed.

End up speaking to my neurologist whilst on holiday, get my epilepsy drugs increased to maximum dosage. Only to be told he needs to transfer me to a specialist epilepsy clinic because he can't do anymore for me, with my current epilepsy drugs without affecting my HIV drugs.

So I've had a fun month.

Sorry for ranting.

New School is awesome, much better working environment.

Who knew, well okay, likely all of you. LOL.  And now i have put my 'shoe size' out there a few comments ago. i know i will now be staring at guy's feet whenever i'm out and about.

i'm up early cuz i cannot sleep. i've had this crappy disease since monday and i'm ready for it to go away now.
