Speaking of bad wieners….. I’m in UK and was informed by the supposedly responsible adult at home in Spain that (arch)criminal 001 was in observation at vets’ after eating “three or four double strength sleeping pills” she found on his bedside table, along with chewing his Tom Ford glasses….. 

She is fine but someone else is in the doghouse…. No pressies from duty free for him.

Well, daughter is moved back home.  Her significant other stopped paying the mortgage and bank sold the house, all of which she was kept in the dark about till the new owner showed up on the doorstoop with a writ of posession last week. To say the past week was a whirlwind of cleaning packing and putting stuff in storage would be an understatement.  Topping it off, he decided he is moving to Philadelphia with his new girl. Took his clothes and left, leaving us to clean out his 10 yrs of accumulated crap. 

 

Thank god she never married him. House was in her name so she will get a sizable check after the mortgage is satisfied, that he cannot touch. She should have never trusted him with the payments but...

 

My house looks like a warehouse right now, but she is here safe, and we can start sorting at a more reasonable pace tomorrow. Then we set out to fix her credit.  Right now she is shell shocked. Truth be told so am I.  If he knows what is good for him, i will never see him again.

Well, don't count them out yet. My folks both made it to 95 (bless their hearts) so I remember well the birthday parties. I spread them out differently than you're doing: 65, 75 then 80, 90 and 95. All this times 2 since they were a little more than 5 years apart in age. And I was their primary carer for the last 7 or 8 years. And now that they're gone  (my dad in 2019, my mom just last June) I wish I could do every one of those parties again, and with more music and dancing and all-around celebration.  And confetti. Oh, and more liquor.

Enjoy your mom while you have her.

Luckily their birthdays are just 10 days apart so we throw joint parties.   We do the same with myself and my Grandma since hers is the day after mine.

Momma bear is now contemplating double homicide.

Trying to make sense of the warehouse my home became while getting the kid out of her place by the deadline. Both kid and hubby keep going off on tangents not finishing a task they started. Bad enough. She seems to think everything she had in a full 2 bedroom house will now fit into MY  house without any reductions. 

 

And now to top my morning off , i told her to grab and empty the shop vac so we coukd vaccum the bottom of a Fibber McGee closet we just cleaned out. She picked it up and decided it did not need to be dumped. Turned it on and blew a huge cloud of dust square in my face! Apparently the filter bag ruptured last time it was used. Excuse me whiie i go shower for the second time today.

Dispite rhe vaccum mishap, progress has been made! Kitchens have been blended, double stuff stored and is dunctional again! Yeah! No more fast food!

Fibber's closet is full again but all sorts of stuff has gone to good will and its organized. Grand total of 4 boxes wmptied organized in in their final homes.

This is spooky, @CassieQ. I was just trying to log in here and mt useless tablet wouldn’t let me and, literally, seconds later I got an alert!  SPOOKY.  

Sad your week is “shitty”.  Here I have a dachshund trussed up like a turkey joint after her snip snip operation this morning.  I know it is the best way to avoid various illnesses later but I’m feeling like a monster.,,
