Customer service.... ever have one of those Mondays where you know damn well your coworkers will probably be setting up a GoFundMe for your bail money by the end of the day? Yeah... it's one of those. Good thing my patience was refilled. Cross your fingers that it doesn't run out lol.

I'll be right there beside you if my morning was any indication.   My coworker is out so I'm stuck with 18 patients.  Already had the late patient, the one who didn't dress appropriately and one who argued with me about his exercises.

I have just locked myself in my room. Wings' ex just called saying he would be by to pick up shit he left behind when he ran off with his new piece, leaving us all the cleaning and packing. Kid was nice and packed the valuble stuff.  He is in the area to get a copy of his birth certificate. Dipshit didnt think the office would be closed just because ITS PRESIDENTS DAY. 

And the kicker? He has the new chippy with him!  I locked myself in so i dont kill it!

Campus was closed all week because of extreme cold (and a lot less snow than they predicted).  It's 30F today and will be 70F by Monday.  Joints would appreciate it if Mother Nature would PICK A SEASON

Don't they always?  I have next week off from my "strenuous job" to recover from eye surgery.  I don't usually do well with forced idleness,  so we'll see how that goes.

I'm in desperate need of a mental health day... which I'm luckily provided 5 of every year. These people are driving me crazy.... and it's not even the snowbirds this time. Oy.

Today feels like the Monday-est Thursday ever. 

On the bright side... I can't complain about the weather. It's sunny and 75 right now.

I’ve been taking more time off lately. I’ve got over a month banked, and I accrue about 2.5 days a month, so I take at least a day off to extend a weekend.

I could use more, but not until I get a manager in place and trained. As it is, I get called and messages on days off, so there’s no real point. Lol

It's been a very long day around here (Oklahoma - pretty much the entire state).  Wind gusts in OKC peaked at 75 miles per hour; only 65 mph here. Had our first Blowing Dust Warning in forever and then MANY MANY fire warnings.  Campus has opened up areas as Shelters for those affected by "current weather events."

We have four faculty members sheltering on campus at the moment because they had to evacuate their neighborhoods.  Sky is still a weird orange (from dust) and gray/black (from smoke).

Peak wind gusts here in town were 74 mph / 119 kph. Sky in most areas was orange tinted with gray, from dust and smoke.  Was a very scary afternoon.

We have one faculty member we know lost their house; two that are damaged but still standing. Fires came into the Western edge of the city (we're on the eastern side) and a rough count is 70 structures destroyed.

We had to go out of town for a family thing yesterday and on the way home there were many areas still smoldering -- which is very scary given we're going to get high winds again tomorrow.

Other than breathing issues, SP and I are fine.

So sorry to hear about your area's and other areas heart breaking weather fire/wind/flooding problems  @Fae Briona. The jet stream winds have been going crazy for the last 3 weeks. In northern Ohio we spent two weeks below freezing, but the winds from the south have now given us a couple of low 70 degree days, but today our winds were also 60 to 70 mph.  Mother Nature appears to be showing her displeasure worldwide! Wishing safety to all.
