I almost hate to even show my guesses.  I reread all the stories this past weekend and it just muddied the waters for me more than ever.

I am to the point that I doubt that I even got any of them right, that said, here are my guesses.  And no, don't ask me to explain why I thought which author was behind which story.  My reasoning is simply too complicated for the average person to even begin to understand.  LOL.  🤪

Pssh. Don't need to explain your reasoning in my case. I know exactly why you (and a few others?) put me where you put me. I just can't verify or deny it until after all this is over.

I would say there is one excellent story in the lead right now.  One stands out in the front.

Yes, it was the one that I enjoyed reading the most; but I honestly felt another story was the BEST, but it was harder to read for me.  I guess that is a cop out, but what the hell, I am fabulous and can do what I want.

Oh balls, this is what happens when I'm sick. I meant there was only one leading not that the other wasn't excellent.

No, No, I had already made a post over in the site where we voted, I voted for the story that I enjoyed reading the most, not the one that I actually thought was the best story.  It isn't you, it's me...  I have to be different...

I don't really care about the votes, and it's fun reading all the wrong guesses.  I just can't wait to be able to comment and leave a review on my favorite stories from this competition.

I am having to stop myself from listing the stories from my least favorite to my most favorite from this competition. I really want to before the authors are announced so it's based on the story alone. So we each have our own opinions on how to judge these stories.

I had three favourites - 

Most romantic: Behind the walls,  just a beautiful love story

Funniest: Hide and Seek - it was also much more than just fun

Best writing: Ceramic dreams - a seriously tough read when the gay dream is, in fact, your nightmare.

I went for the “Best writing” but it was a hard decision.
