We as readers have a responsibility to react and comment on stories we like.  I admit I sometimes get interrupted and do not get back to comment on something.  On that, mea culpa.  But as readers, we also need to try to phrase our comments clearly, and, if we have MAJOR criticisms, private message the author.  We  may have missed something.

Sadly, I once received an absolutely vicious response from one of your listed authors, for daring to question an historical interpretation of theirs. So, being polite has to work in both directions. Rather than reply to the very nasty opinions about being responsible for hate crimes etc etc, I just blocked having to ever read another word.

I have since figured it out. It's ignoring users and it can be found under your profile. This made my day so much better.

@Jason Rimbaud, I do not know if this what @Gary L meant, but if you click on your own icon at the top right of the screen, there is a drop down menu which includes a setting called "Ignored users."  Gary, is that what you meant?  Or is there another setting I am not seeing?
