“There is what?” TJ and Jackson said at the same time

“Penises Dad” Hunter said holding the phone up proudly, as I felt like I turned several shades of purple

“Could I have my phone, please” I squeaked out

“Dad and Pop, we need you” Jackson shouted and the grandpa’s came in

“We need to have a talk with Tristan could you take the others?” Jackson said

“But dad, I want to know why he’s got penises on his phone? Can I get them too?” Hunter said excitedly

“Oh boy” TJ said sitting down giving Jackson a sideways glance

“First of all, no one is getting penises on their phone.” Jackson said sternly “Secondly, we need to talk with your brother alone.”

“Let’s go have some ice cream” Grandpa Tracy said

“I want chocolate” Mattie said running into the kitchen

“Dad, could you take them out?” TJ said grabbing cash from his wallet

“No need for the cash TJ, grandpa’s treat” Jack said

“I’ll call before we leave and we’ll bring you some” Tracy said patting my shoulder

Everyone left and we sat in silence and I didn’t even look at my phone and it went off a few more times.

“Tristan am I correct in assuming the picture is probably from Justin and Julian” TJ asked

“I guess; I haven’t even looked” I sighed

“All right let’s take a look” Jackson said holding out his hand

“Let him look babe” TJ said

“What?” Jackson said loudly

“Babe, it’s considered child porn” TJ said causing me to drop my phone on the floor and they both looked at me

“I don’t want to go to jail” I said with my lip quivering

“Sweetheart you won’t go to jail” TJ said soothingly and came over and picked up my phone and sat next to me “From the looks of it they are rather nice”

“What?” I said grabbing my phone and TJ smirked

“Oh wow” I said looking at the other pictures the twins were definitely close

“Now we knew something like this was bound to happen but didn’t expect it so soon” Jackson said moving to the other side of me

“We know that teenagers love to send pictures of themselves and we know we can’t stop you but we beg you to be cautious” TJ said tearing up

“Is something wrong T2?” I said looking at him

“I had a friend that I made when I lived in San Francisco name Connor. He was a sweet but naïve kid. He wanted everyone to like him and hung around the bar even though he was under 18. One night he called me and said he had done something really stupid, long story short he shared pictures of himself with someone and that person sent the photos to Connor’s parents and grandparents. He was completely distraught as his parents disowned him and his extended family wanted nothing to do with him” TJ said

“So what happened to him?” Jackson ask “How come I’ve never heard this story either”

“I eventually found Connor in park and convinced him that he would recover from this and I would be his family. Connor stayed with Brooks, Miles, Rusty and me. He worked hard and got into UCLA and last I know he was married and living in San Diego I think” TJ said

“Wow, I can’t believe someone would do that” I replied

“There are so many people who do revenge porn and leak nudes and videos of their significant others to damage their reputation or to control them” TJ said “There are laws but sometimes it can be too late”

“We want you to be safe but please use discretion as we don’t want your brothers and sisters seeing this kind of stuff” Jackson said

“So what do I do about it?” I asked not knowing what they wanted me to say

“Just be careful; You could tell the twins you enjoyed the pics but there has to be some kind of discretion. ” TJ said

“I thought you’d get angry” I said

“While we are disappointed in them, we aren’t in you. It’s not like you asked for them” Jackson asked with a wicked grin

“I didn’t honestly” I said

“We believe you sweetheart” TJ said

“Now there is something else we’d like to discuss” Jackson said

“About school?” I whined

“No” he replied “We’d like to adopt you and your brothers”

“What!” I screamed excitedly

“Yes, if you’d have us we’d like to make it official” TJ said

“Hell yes!” I screamed and they laughed “Do my brothers know?”

“Yes we talked with them the other day and we were waiting to talk to you” Jackson said “Your other brothers and sisters were excited too”

“Can I be a Michaels?” I said jumping up

“Whatever you want” TJ said

“AWESOME, when can we do this?” I asked

“Let me talk with Grandpa Jack and make it happen” Jackson replied

At that moment Jackson’s phone rang and it was the Grandpas wanting to know if it was safe to come back and if so what ice cream did we want. Jackson gave him the order while I looked at my messages

T: Thanks for the pics but like my whole family saw

J: What!?

T: Yeah not cool

J: sorry. U in trouble?

T: No but awkaward convo with the rents

J: rents? U live with ur brother

T: being adopted

J: cool. So whatcha think?

T: Well family opinion is they are nice

J: OMG ::blushes::

T: Yeah getting them framed as we speak

J: WHAT!?

T: JK

J: Better be

T: Yeah I am but we can talk l8r over lunch?

J: We’d be down with that

T: k bye. Grandpa got some big gay ice cream

J: so jelly

“Everything ok” TJ asked

“Yeah told Justin you and I were framing the pictures” I said causing Jackson to spit his water all over his tablet

“He’s got your sense of humor for sure” Jackson said rolling his eyes

“He is me, you turkey” TJ said

“Now boys, no fighting” Grandpa Jack said mockingly

“Yeah, won’t mention a certain picture we received in error” Grandpa Tracy said causing TJ and Jackson to go pale

“Here is your ice cream and you better be nice or I’ll spank you” Grandpa Jack said

“They might like that” I said causing everyone to laugh

“He’s definitely your child” Jackson said

While we ate our ice cream the other sat and chatted.

“Daddy did you ask him yet?” Hunter said shyly

“Ask who, what honey?” TJ said between bites

“About the adoption?” Hunter replied

“We did” Jackson said

“So did he say yes?” Mattie said with a hopeful look

“Well you see” TJ said dragging it out

“For goodness sakes, out with it boy” Grandpa Jack said

“He said hell yes” TJ said grinning at me

“Congratulations” was being shouted by everyone in the room but I could sense the mood was about to change. Just then the door to the apartment opened and in walked Grandma with a troubled look

“What’s wrong CC?” Grandpa Jack said causing everyone to stop in their place

“I just had a long talk with the police in California about Bob, Jeff and Kevin’s murder.” CC replied “He was asking some suspicious questions and I think we could be in trouble. Well one of us more than the others”

“What are you talking about?” TJ said worriedly

“Kids, would you excuse us please” Grandma asked

“Kind of useless since we can read mind and have really good hearing” I said

“He’s got you there” Grandpa Tracy said

“Well the officer was asking all kinds of questions about Bob and then his line of questioning kind of shifted” CC stopped and looked out the window “He was being very direct and asking about TJ.”

“ME!?” TJ shouted

“It seems your prints were all over the place and from what I could tell from my contacts they are going in front of a grand jury tomorrow” CC said

“Don’t worry TJ, I’ve got this covered” Grandpa Jack said storing out with Grandpa Tracy following behind

TJ fell onto the couch and all us kids pilled on him

“You know he didn’t do it” Jackson said

“I know he didn’t do it and that he was set-up” CC said angrily “I do know who would do such a diabolical thing”

“Richard” we heard from under the pile

“He was the first one that came to mind but my demon spawn came to mind too” Grandma said “This is going to kill your political career before it has a chance to take off”

“I’m not worried about that, I am worried what it could mean for all of us” TJ said

“With Jack on your side, you’ve got a great chance on beating this.” Grandma said “Now TJ you will need to go into hiding and I know just the place”

Some dark hole:

“You did an excellent job. I commend you” the unknown voice said

“With the rift between them it made it so easy” Richard said

“They won’t know what hit them” Dylan said with a smirk

“You have been tremendous help but this is where our deal ends” the voice said and three shots rang out and Dylan, Sebastian and Richard fell to the floor “Now make sure they are disposed of for good; they’ve died once before can’t have them coming back and spoiling everything”
