I’m usually quicker on the uptake than that. Greg had given me the hint earlier when he told me why he was coming down here for lunch. Dan must be short of cash!

With board and meals thrown in, Dan can’t be making a lot of money. Greg’s just trying to save him from being embarrassed.

Thinking about it, a night of good company in our apartment is probably going to be more fun than a night out anyway. Since we’ll be at home, Paul and I won’t have to hide; we’ll be able to relax and just be ourselves.

Yep. This is definitely a better idea than going out.
