Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 12. Chapter 12

[Rob Skitter]

Fantastic! Greg’s freaked even more than I could have expected – so bad, it’s not even funny. Not only does he look like ruining my weekend by not allowing me any quality personal time with Diane, but now he looks like wrecking Chris and Paul’s weekend by being homophobic!

Di’s doing the protective big sister act and I have to go along with it. I don’t really want to, as I’ve seen Chris suffer too many times from the small-minded attitudes of homophobic idiots, but this is her little brother. I can’t slap him around like he deserves. Chris is one of the greatest guys I know. So what that he likes to sleep with other guys? That’s his personal life and it has nothing to do with what sort of person he is.

This is looking like the worst weekend of skiing I’m ever going to have to endure. And it’s not because of the weather, for a change.

She’s a lovely girl and I hope to marry her one day, but why did she have to invite her kid brother along?
