Originally, I was talking to Greg because he was Diane’s brother. Then it was because Paul had become worried about him.
I don’t know why I’m surprised that he turned out to be such a great guy in his own right.
He’s relaxed enough about the incident to joke about it, but he’s perceptive enough to understand why it has to be dropped.
Apart from skiing, I don’t know what we have in common that will give us an excuse to keep in contact, but I’d like to find something. Extra straight friends, around whom Paul and I can just be ourselves, are worth their weight in gold.
