Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 179. Chapter 179

[Dan Cronin]

I’ve just had the worst night’s sleep I think I’ve ever had. I tossed and turned all night. Greg has told me that he thinks we can be friends, but he went very quiet last night. He was upset, or confused, and needed time to think.

What was he thinking about as he lay in his bed? Was he wondering if he really could be friends?

Is there anything I can say that will sway his mind?

I’ve been sitting here for over an hour now, watching Greg. When he’s asleep, Greg looks like a different person. He’s relaxed and it shows as an inner glow that makes me want to climb into his bed and just hold him.

I really should try to distance myself, but I can’t. I’ve fallen for him, and though it pains me to know he’s so close, but I can’t touch him, the idea of not having him around is even worse.

Kelly just shook her head at me when she got up for work. She didn’t say a word, but I knew she’s disappointed. She and Garret both know what I’ve finally accepted – I’m in love with someone who can’t love me back.

Life is just so fucking unfair!
