Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 46. Chapter 46

[Paul Wilson]

Shit!

I didn’t expect this, but my gaydar has just gone off big-time.

Dan’s gay!

Steady down, now. My gaydar has been wrong before. If only Chris had it too, so I could check with him, but he’s never been able to pick who’s gay and who’s straight. He told me that’s the reason he was at the bar where he met me so often – it was the one place he could be pretty sure that all the guys there were gay.

I wasn’t sure this afternoon, but that was a highly unusual situation. Tonight, however, I’m positive he gave me a good long look up and down, with just a hint of a smile. He has to know I’m gay, and that was the look of someone appreciating what they were looking at. Straight guys just don’t do that!

Now what do I do? Should I mention it to Greg? But if I’m wrong, that will really mess with Greg’s mind. On the other hand, if I’m right, is Greg falling into a situation where he could get abused?

I’m sure something happened to Greg in the past. Exactly what, I’m not sure, but he’s not really comfortable around gays. I think all I can do is to keep an eye on Dan and make sure he doesn’t try anything. Greg’s too cool a guy to let him get hurt again, if I can do something to stop it.
