Well, Paul has well and truly done it now.

At least Greg wasn’t in the room when Paul accused Dan of being gay, and hiding it from Greg. Dan didn’t deny it – he just tried to calm Paul down. Paul responded by threatening to rip Dan to pieces if he laid even one finger on Greg.

I managed to get Paul to go to bed, because I could see he was close to the point of physically assaulting Dan. Paul still trusts me, even when he’s drunk and angry.

I apologised to Dan, but he just smiled and waved it off. He said he knows other angry drunks, and he won’t hold anything Paul said against him. He then told me that Greg was perfectly safe from him. He’s just a friend, that’s all.

Dan seems to be taking this well. If Paul hasn’t completely fucked things up, I’m going to have to make him apologise tomorrow.

Dan asked me if we could keep this from Greg. He’s going to tell him, but he’s trying to find a chance to do it properly.

Paul’s gaydar was spot on about Dan. Mine is still completely on the blink....
