Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 70. Chapter 70

[Paul Wilson]

While Diane is still doing an imitation of an ice princess to Rob, things seem to be getting back to a semblence of normality with the rest of us.

Chris and I had a quick chat before we came back down on the second run. We’re going to stick with the other three for the day, instead of heading off to the more challenging runs. We both want to be there, just in case something blows up between Rob and Diane.

While we were prepared to ski the Playground all day, it’s great if we can ski Towers instead. It won’t be quite as obvious what we’re doing.

Despite what else he may be, Dan looks like he’s a good teacher. Greg is skiing a lot more competently that I would’ve expected. Either that, or Greg is just naturally gifted.

Last night, I told Chris my suspicions about both Greg and Dan. The combination of the two could be explosive, but Chris pointed out that nothing was going to happen today, so there was no need to worry. That’s what I love about him – he brings me back to earth with a bit of common sense, just when I’m starting to stress.
