Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 66. Chapter 66

[Diane Rider]

I hate it when my brother is right, even if it’s for the wrong reasons.

I didn’t stuff up on the sleeping arrangements; I stuffed up thinking he was gay. I should have known better. He was just like Rob last night; tongue hanging out and eyes on stalks, as he leered at the sluts parading around on the stage. Gay guys, like Chris and Paul, have too much class to descend into the gutter like that.

Naturally, he’s on the shithead’s side. He’s another chauvinistic male pig, who can only think with what’s between his legs. The only positive is that he hasn’t fooled any girls long enough to screw their lives with his philandering ways.

All the good ones are taken, or gay.

Rob’s currently taken, but I’m no longer sure he’s one of the good ones. Chris is definitely one of the good ones, but he’s both taken and gay.

It may be that Rob just made a mistake, as he’s been telling me for the last hour, but it may be that I saw a glimpse of the real person last night.

Shit! If I didn’t love him so much, this wouldn’t be so hard to take. Do I give him a second chance, or is that just giving him a second chance to kick me while I’m down?
