Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 92. Chapter 92

[Paul Wilson]

Chris thinks I’m going a bit over the top with my suspicions about Dan, but he’s never been through the things I have. I’ve had guys hitting on me since I was fifteen, and I’ve seen the complete range of possibilities. My boyfriend is concerned that I’ll do something that’ll mess up the week, but I keep promising him that I won’t be the one to start things. As long as Dan doesn’t try anything, there won’t be a problem.

That doesn’t stop me from keeping an eye on Dan, or trying to make sure we steer clear of situations where Dan has a chance to take advantage of Greg. Certainly, we are not going to another wet jocks competition if I have any say in the matter.

My one concession is that I’ll let Chris pull me up if he thinks I’ve gone too far. I trust him implicitly, and I know he’ll give me balance if I’m reading too much into things. He’s a better judge of people, as a general rule, but this is one area he just doesn’t have any experience in. Until we get evidence one way or the other, I’m going to keep an eye on Dan.
