Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 39. Chapter 39

[Chris Everington]

I’m glad I kept a discreet watch from the windows in the lodge. I managed to see Greg approaching with enough time to concoct a plausible excuse to head out. The fact that Diane had confided her plans with me helped as well, as she also wanted me out of the lodge. I just got to pick the time so I could speak privately to Greg on my way out about keeping the incident of this afternoon quiet.

I’m just not sure of whether Greg is going to be nice to Paul and me, or whether he’s going to have Rob rub our noses in it. Paul doesn’t really care, but he doesn’t have to work with Rob. The last thing I want is the story to go through the office. It would be months before anyone would let me forget it.

Okay, deep breath time. I’m about to find out if Greg takes after his sister, or does he share Rob’s sense of humour.
