Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 41. Chapter 41

[Rob Skitter]

I’m glad Greg’s okay. I know Diane was getting frantic with worry, but even I was getting concerned about how late it was getting. I know Diane had told me to go straight to the ski patrol, but I had planned on checking at the Frying Pan first. If it was just a case of dropping in for a drink before heading back, that was the most likely place he’d be.

Either Greg’s a quick learner, or Dan’s a good teacher, as I certainly wouldn’t have taken him down the home trails on his first day. It took Diane three days before she was ready to ski home. I know it really annoyed the towies when I insisted that we ride the chairlift down those first few days. They much prefer people to ski home rather than catch a ride.
