Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 68. Chapter 68

[Rob Skitter]

Greg is an absolute gem. If I can ever recover from this disaster I’ve created, I’ll be proud to have him as my brother-in-law. I’ll also have to ask him to be a groomsman; if there is going to be a wedding, it’s because he’s playing a major part in trying to make sure Diane and I get over this hurdle that I’ve created.

He pointed out the mistake I made, and didn’t stop until I understood what it was that I did to his sister. Then he defended me when Diane accused me of thinking she was weak – as if anyone could ever think that of her! Now he’s trying to make sure I don’t get excluded, even though Diane is doing her best to ignore me.

I’m sorry I ever wished he hadn’t come on this trip. If it wasn’t for him, I may not have realised what I was doing until it was too late to have any chance of saving the relationship. Hopefully, Greg has pulled me into line in time....
