Falls Creek Lessons - Links - 81. Chapter 81
[Paul Wilson]
It’s strange sometimes the convoluted way we think and do things. Why are Chris and I back up here this week?
We’d been talking about having some more time skiing before the end of the season, even before the last weekend trip with Rob and Diane. That’s when we got introduced to Diane’s little brother, Greg. He’s a nice guy, but I sensed that there was something wrong with the way he reacted when he found out that Chris and I are gay, and a couple.
My best guess is that he’s been molested, but that’s all it is: a guess. Over that weekend he had periods when he was cool and then times when he was freaking out. It was almost as if he was scared of me.
Then he met Dan.
Dan comes over as being a nice guy, but I’m sure he hasn’t told Greg he’s gay, and then he engineered a situation to get Greg to strip for him. I’ve met some real slime balls in my time, and Dan shows signs of being another one. Why he has to go after a straight guy like Greg, I don’t know, but I don’t like it.
Why do I feel I need to protect Greg?
He’s the younger brother of the girlfriend of my boyfriend’s best mate. Convoluted, but if Greg gets hurt, the pain will go all the way back along the chain to Chris.
We’re not here for the full week, but I have to make sure that Greg knows he has a safe haven if he needs to get away from Dan. I just hope it’s not needed.
