    Summer Resolutions, Anyone?

    By Aditus

This year I’m going to clear out the shed. I’ll try this long hike someone recommended. I won’t sleep in every day.  I’ll eat healthy, all these yummy vegetables and fruit that are available now. I will finish the story that has been on hold for so long. Summer break starts on Monday, and I have a very long list. What about you? Maybe try to write a prompt story?   PT Prompt #352   Dale bought an ice cream maker, but vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry are just about that

Raccoons On a Space Shuttle

In the year 2012 an astronomer discovers that in six months an asteroid will collide with the earth destroying all life. NO problem! A highly trained international team of astronauts is ready to save the earth. They didn't count on a stow-away. Raccoon on a Space Shuttle   Staring:   Robert Hayes as Mission Commander Stryker   Leslie Nielson as the President   Billy Bob Thornton as the folksy Mission Control Guy   Scott Bakula as the nice, sincere guy that gets killed in a l

Everyone

Everyone's got this part inside of them that is so beyond beautiful if you could only see it. It's like if you truly knew the person, any person, in all their glory you'd be so dazzled, so awe-struck, that you'd never want to let them go, never want to look away, even for a second.

Taking a step back

My thought of the day............. At least I can be who I am here on my blog.     I've had a really rough last few days. I'm not going to lie about it. I found out that a problem that I thought was over and done with is still around, and it's been bugging me. So I took today and just spent it thinking about things. Schools about to start and I really don't want to have the same hard time I had last year when I was up until 2 in the morning doing my homework, so I decided to finally give in

I'm back!

So. It's been a while, but it wasn't voluntary, trust me! I haven't had internet, exactly, since I've been here (Sunday). I've been waiting all week for someone to come set me up. Then I found this cable jack under my bed and yay! Except I've got the monitor on a chair, the mouse on my laundry hamper, and the keyboard on my lap, because the cable thing was on the other side of the room from the desk. So between the monitor being at a weird angle and the fact that I'm mildy tipsy, sorry if my spe

Water in my glass; air in my pipes

So they finally processed my insurance license and issued it Monday. Thus I've actually been working this week. Well sort of. I'm off to a rather slow start, but I hear that's typical. Still a bit of a downer though. Still I shan't give up! (nor shall I quit using archaic grammer)   Mostly this week I've been struggling to get on some type of schedule that makes more sense. I guess I'm a little bit closer, but I'm just fighting my natural inclinations to stay up until the early morning

Nine Planets may Become 12 or more

one hundred minus one equals 99

Okay so on the agenda for this 99th blog...   One cute as hell story!   One request from me to my friends.   Kevin - Bardeara's nickname.   Benny taught me something new!   ... and stuff   So this blog begins one day driving down the freeway for the ninety-millionth time today with my son in the back seat and he says to me, "I love you Mom." So I reply, "I love you too!" To which he replies, "I love you three," and before you know it I am saying, "I love you one hundred!" So, the n

He loves me, He loves me not ♥

Well I had one of these last year at one point, but I never used the thing so I deleted it. I've had a lot going on in my life recently and need a place to vent besides Jeff, Viv, and Val. It seems all I ever do when I talk to them is bitch about one thing or another. So to give their ears a little break, I'm going to be posting in here a bit more.   I seriously feel like finding one of those damn flowers and picking the petals off one by one going "He loves me, He loves me not." I would proba

Thanks Everyone!

So let me just start off by saying thank you to everyone that gave advice in my last blog!   But... I didn't take any of it. I didn't have the chance before we ended up going out after work last night. Let me just say the night was very eventful and I lost a lot of things... and no, my virginity was not one of them! The main thing I lost was all the thoughts in my head that he wasnt interested. Because I'm pretty sure he is.   None the less, thanks for the advice everyone I'm still stuck on

It's a small one

Well, now that I have everyone's attention... or at least the pervs' attentions, I should say that this isn't a pervy blog But it's going to be short and consist of me bitching   So work was hell today. We were short people for a normal night, and tonight we got slammed with customers for some reason. Add that to the fact that there was a meeting with the top 10 GMs from around the country there and they witnessed our shortage of people. It wasn't fun. Especially because I had to work late.

He loves me, He loves me not Redux

Seriously, I don't know why I even bother trying to figure out how he feels. I mean, I have a reliable source telling me that he's screwing around with another guy (I think it's his ex), but he still gives me signals that says he's interested.   Today for instance... my ass was grabbed like 30 times and he groped the front of me once. I'm not gonna lie and say I backed away or didn't like it. I sat there and smiled/giggled every time he did it. Which makes him think that I like it and want mor

Giving back

I've decided to do something. I talked about it with quite a few people on this site and on other sites, and everyone agreed that it was a good idea, so here it is........     Im going to change Nick's Story Page. It's been a good site for me, and I've had a lot of exposure because of it. It get's hundreds of hits a day, and I think it can serve a greater good now......     From now on, Nick's Story Page belongs to new writers who are making an effort to improve and get noticed. I'm going

A Good Day, Feeling better about 23, And Random ?s

So today was good. I had two meetings at work. Anyway my license still isn't in so I'm not actually doing anything (or getting paid before you guys think what a good deal I've got ). Anyway during the meeting my boss mentioned this to everyone so it was kinda fun the whole meeting just stopped and everyone started talking to me telling me how much it sucked, and to hang in there and stuff lol.   So then I came home and read a bit and took a nap, that was fun. I sleep so well! ....lol

A decent prospect

I had a phone interview today with a large translation firm. They're looking for a Project Manager. The interview went well, and they asked me to go in on Tuesday afternoon for an in-person interview. The pay isn't that great, and it would be a lot of work, but it might be a good place to start, and the benefits are pretty good. If I get the job, I'd have to go through a government background check for a security clearance, since about 50% of their work is government contracts. I shouldn't have

one year later and the 98th blog

I don't know if there is a 'blog anniversary' but if there is... Happy 1 Year Anniversary to... me One year ago today, I wrote and posted my first blog and since then... 97 blogs later I've found it to be an outlet, a fun way to communicate, a great way to discuss things, to tell stories, and to get feedback from people about all kinds of things... so I want to say thanks to everyone who has taken the time to ever read, write, respond, mention, etc... to me about it because I really appreciate

One Year Ago Today

One year ago today I registered at Gay Authors after I finished reading The Log Way by Dom Luka, and the rest is history I found the Soap Box, then I found the rest of the forums, including The Library. The Soap Box is gone, The Library has been replaced by e-fiction, and it seems like there's all new people at the forums. I mean, there's a lot of people from last year, but it seems like a lot of the people who were here before have stopped posting, but in their place, some awesome new people c

Presentations 12......the wackness never stops

OK, so if you haven't heard the news yet, I just made it to the shared hosted page on GA. I'm very excited and very nervous, but I'm more excited than anything. I've got a lot of writing to do, and I'm proud that I get to do it here.....I promised myself that I wasn't going to stop working until I made it to my own Hosted site at GA, and now that I'm almost there, I feel like it's time to turn things all the way up. there's only one problem I seem to be having.....   I need to design a page an

Cats are better than Kids!

Cats are superior to kids in all respects.   Forget to feed a cat and he will go out and kill something. Try that with kids and the welfare will come after you.   Cats kill vermin. Kids attract vermin.   Kids are messy. Cats, with the exception of litter-box and cat-fur, are exceptionally clean.   Cats are independent. Kids are always whining "Mummy, Mummy!"   Kids are noisy. Cats are usually quiet unless they are hungry.   Petting a cat will lower your blood pressure. Dealing with
