A.J. Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I heard this song on the way back to work and wanted to share it.
A.J. Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 I also heard this song today and some of the lyrics really spoke to me. Particularly these two sections: Starting right now I’ll be strong. I’ll play my fight song. And I don’t really care if nobody else believes, ‘Cause I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me. Like a small boat, on the ocean. Sending big waves, into motion. Like how a single word, can make a heart open. I might only have one match, but I can make an explosion. 1

sandrewn Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 As is usual I was looking for something and got side tracked to something else that was totally different. I had never heard this one before and it may get a chuckle out of any who listen to it. It did me. Sandrewn
W_L Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 This brings back some nice childhood memories and it made it into my shuffle today: https://youtu.be/lenkR5XzSJc
C B Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Sometimes I randomly belt out certain songs in public. I am always surprised when it happens. Today...at the pool...I start belting out "Wonderwall" in front of many strangers Honey badger don't give a shit today...
C B Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 (edited) I haven't heard this song in quite some time but it particularly affected me today. For whatever reason after hearing it on the radio in my rental car, it made me want to come out to my coworker and my college roommate today. It didn't necessarily go that well but I feel freer. "Buildings with a hundred floors Swinging 'round revolvin' doorsMaybe I don't know where they take meBut gotta keep movin' onMovin' onFly awayBreakaway" ^I just have to keep taking risks...regardless of the outcome. Drew Espinosa Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 This song has been stuck in my head for a while now. It's just so beautiful... This is the complete radio broadcast of the actual performance in Copenhagen with added video and stills from the reprise to enhance it. The original video recordings were lost or destroyed so I used the short reprise video (more than once) to give a better feel for the original performance than the radio broadcast can give. I have also corrected the short section where lipsync on the original reprise clip (as used by Eurovision) is out. I will add more video when I can. I am doing this enhancement and reconstruction work for historical reasons, to give a unique and better insight into what it actually looked and sounded like as Gigliola sang, all those years ago.
glitteryantlers Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I was reading the newest Kidnapping is always an option by HinderToyBL and the question came to mind:
Headstall Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Haven't most of us felt like this at one time... I love this guy... voice, and... 2
Mann Ramblings Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I'm fangirling (which I don't do) and fixated... Will be watching and rewatching. And maybe singing along if no one's nearby. 2
Peter from Perth Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) Loved this the first time around and Betty Who does a fair remake. Met someone yesterday with "the most stumbling blue eyes I've ever seen" so can't get this out of my head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqdWTeXWvOg Edited September 7, 2016 by Skittles
C B Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 (edited) I don't necessarily like these lyrics...but I love the sound of these two Twenty One Pilot songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQt_6m1ErLI (although I still maintain that suicide squad sucked...) Edited September 7, 2016 by C B
W_L Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Yellowcard for today: This song makes me cry a lot 1
clochette Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 (edited) Jain - Heads up (I saw up this summer at a festival and she's really great, she's all on her own with her loopers but can totally make the crowd move; sing and dance) Edited September 12, 2016 by clochette
Menace Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I've recently got caught into the depths of Broadway music. This one is one of my favourites.
Lux Apollo Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Criminal came on the radio while I was driving today... loved this song ever since it was released in high school.
C B Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Spontaneous 1AM DJ concet....they played this song last night. I was completely lost in a trance and just danced my faced off... I have not heard any types of version of this song in probably 15 years and took me back to when I was younger buying my first cassette tape (...I probably should have know I was gay based on this song haha)
clochette Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Julian Peretta - Cry (I was in the same high chool as the guy who wrote this song!)
