Just to ... write faster. LOL The biggest surprise I ever pulled on myself was writing Guarded and posting chapter by chapter, yet still somehow keeping it a mystery. I will NEVER do that again. I agonized over chapters before posting - if I'd said too much and given it away, if I wasn't leaving enough clues, etc. Yeah. Never again! This latest story is a fun one for me. There's lots of potential for drama, growth, and angst. I mean ... The Hazards of Love should be a clue! Edited February 11, 2022 by Wayne Gray 1 2 2

I won't do it anymore either. My posting nearly caught up to my writing on one story and threw me into a panic. Never again! ) Wayne's overdue, so he needs to get his ass into gear. It's now like waiting for an earthquake or volcanoe that's overdue. Not "if", but "when". 🤣 1 3

Our current regional manager is going back up north and the national manager (who used to be our regional) will be taking over Florida again. He's been here for two days and whenever he's in town, it's always extra work, and a boatload of paperwork. My older son had an anxiety attack and ended up in the ER Wednesday night. There's nothing more frustrating than being 1000 miles away and feeling helpless. Thankfully he is fine. So I am looking forward to Sunday, my one day off. Hope things get better for you! oh k! that is a hard one on a mama's heart! glad he's better now hope your work goes better next week 2

I'm at the point where I need to go back and make sure the past meshes with what I have planned for the characters in the story, and I'm updating the previous stuff too. This is the HUGE advantage to waiting to finish a work before uploading any part of it. reading, need to put reading on my calendar take care Wayne 3 1

Fae Briona Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 This afternoon is my 1st real physical therapy session; happy to get them started but still nervous. And tomorrow night a front will move through that will drop the high from almost 20F above normal to near 20F below normal. 1 2

Popular Post kbois Posted February 16, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 16, 2022 Well I bit the bullet and finally went to get a physical. I haven't seen a doctor in 3 years. It wasn’t as bad as I feared. Granted I still need to go get blood work done, and thanks to the plethora of snowbirds, the next available early morning appointment isn't until the end of next week. Those are the results that I'm a little afraid of. Can't worry about it right now though. I'm finally getting my knee looked at too, once I figure out which imaging center is in network with the insurance. I don't have the pain like I used to. I'm down 75lbs now since March and that's been a tremendous help, but it's really crunchy when I bend it and I feel like it's holding me back in my fitness goals. I hope everyone up north is weathering the cold OK. I think we've seen the last of 30 and 40 degree mornings for a while. Have a good rest of your week! ❤ 1 6

Popular Post chris191070 Posted February 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 18, 2022 (edited) Hope everyone is keeping well and safe. Well the CT scan I had for these kidney stones has led to another scan of my bladder, to try and find out what's wrong. They haven't told me much, just keep sending me for tests. That was the most maddening thing about my stint in the hospital last month. Granted while I was incapacitated by the drugs they spoke to hubby for permissions etc, but once I sobered up they spoke to me like a 2 year old incapable of understanding. Their reactions were interesting when I told them they would respect me and my wishes or I would replace every man-jack doc on my case up to and including signing out ama and going to a hospital that showed respect to the patients. 5 1

I had a hospitalist speak to me in that condescending tone. I quickly told her that I was educated, graduated with honors, and I didn't get my medical information from social media. She went scampering out of the room to investigate what I had told her. When she came back she had found out what I had told her was true, and she apologized. You have to hold your ground and stand up for yourself with doctors. No one knows your body better than you do. 6
Popular Post kbois Posted February 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 20, 2022 So... on my way to the gym this morning, I get to the rotary (roundabout, traffic circle.. whatever) and I'm within the circle, meaning I have the right of way. Some old entitled white-haired geezer decides to cut me off, forcing me to practically stand on my brakes. I was going to let it go, but saw that he had a Florida Gator plate. Oh Hell NO! I leaned on the horn, smiled as I saw him jump. Go Noles! Have a good Sunday everyone! 1 6
