My kid turned 12 today, so we took him out to dinner at this restaurant. After we got home, we let him open a few of the smaller presents we got for him. There will be a party with his friends on Saturday.

The pair of Bears groaned when eating the date squares. They enjoyed them, i liked them but they are not what i was expecting. I'll look at some other recipes.

I'll have nightmares tonight... recorder screeches mixed with the bass from some idiots across the street playing music full blast. I'm sure their neighbors are chomping at the bit for it to be 11pm so they can call the police. 

I'm so glad we're out of here in a week.

That could work to your advantage. It might keep the leftover pizza thieves at bay. 🤣

I've got some baby bella mushrooms in the fridge that are going to find their way into tonight's InstantPot mushroom, pancetta, and spinach risotto.

Have a great Friday. We are expecting snow beginning at about 10:30 a.m. and lasting until 4:30 a.m. tomorrow. I'm not sure how serious the snowfall will be; some say it will be light, and some say there's a warning.  I guess we'll see as Mother Nature has not asked for our opinion or ideas.

It's raining here all day.
