That's awesome news!!!

Florida opened up for 18+ today so my younger son has an appointment on Thursday. Now I just have to ride my older son to get his. He's reluctant and he's about to find out just how persistent and insistent his mother can get.

My 3 boys with Tony will get the first dose Pfizer vaccine on Apr 14. They are 18, 17, 15 but he'll be 16 by then. Somehow their doctor got the vaccine. Under 18 can only get Pfizer at this time. I suspect Tony had something to do with the quickness of this. In MD anyone over 16 can preregister now.

Tomorrow will be a long day -- dealing w. insurance companies on 50+ year old life insurance policies in the morning, then dealing w. the bank (the main bank - still one other to deal with) in the afternoon.

May your day be as easy as possible and the ones working with you be helpful and kind

A long day, perhaps, but a productive one, I hope for you.

And some amazing and welcome news.  I'd registered us both as we are both in the at risk groups. We'll get our first vaccinations this week.

What a relief.

That's great news x

well that one was good

powered thru tbe emails that piled up with my being out yesterday & did some research on classes for my smart goals for this year.

how is everyone here?

I got the insurance filed (or at least forms requested) for dad's policies and remotely met my brother at the bank to sort that portion of things.  Long, stressful, and tiring, but it's one more thing started and one more thing done.

Can you sort my emails for me? Lol.

Things are ok here. Been fielding texts from friends and family wanting to know if we're near the evacuation area of the toxic waste water spill. The answer is no. My brother is much closer but still a mile or two east of the danger zone.

I have the feeling we're in for a horrible summer. The toxic water is being dumped into Tampa Bay. It's highly acidic and that will create a perfect environment for a red tide algae bloom. We went through a horrible bloom about 3 years ago. It smelled like dead rotting fish up to 10 miles inland. Nasty and nauseating. The whole thing is a massive fiasco. The county got screwed over by the company that abandoned the property.

Other than potentially glowing in the dark I've been busy at work. Regional manager is back in town. Oh joy.

Hope everyone has a good rest of the week.

LOL! it's taken me a long time to figure out a system. first i search for those things i get regularly, like news updates, the takeout places that email me at work, etc. then delete them straight away. then emails from the president & CEO.

then i search for those people i know who need more handholding during their projects. after that it's a start at the top and work my way down kind of thing, searching one project number/sender at a time.

good look with everything

First vaccination complete.  Hope you're all doing well.

So glad you got you and tim got your first doses!  I had my second one this morning. Other than a very slight sore arm, absolutely no side effects.  I feel that a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I know that nothing is 100%, but at least now I know that I've done all that I can do. I'm so ready for even a fraction of my normal life to resume.

I hope that everyone is doing well too!

Glad to hear you and tim got vaccinated, Mike.

Unfortunate for me, I missed the current cut off by one year. At least I’m getting closer to having my turn.

I got the Moderna vaccine and, like a lot of people, I had some effects after the second dose. The first dose I had no effects, not even a sore arm. The second one I had no effects the first day, the next day though I had a slight fever and a small headache. That lasted about 48 hours.

Justin had the J&J vaccine, one dose, with no side effects.

6 more days for me and I'll be at maximum effectiveness! Then I'm going to the casino to play poker!

Today is my big 70th birthday. Justin is making a big deal about the birthday, not the actual year. I've always said I'm no older than my boyfriend and he's almost 26 so I'm still just a twink!

Happy Birthday x
