Well that's our holiday booked for next July/August a 33 day trip to Australia.

Fantastic! I’ve been twice many, many years ago.  Everything was wonderful. Enjoy!

Well, with all this travel talk.. tomorrow i'm going to the grocery store, today is laundry, vacuuming, making naan for dinner. Nothing exciting to report.  Here is the recipe for naan...

Sounds really nice. Maybe, I’ll try my luck with them.

I usually just buy the PC naans, which I forgot to put on today’s shopping list. 🤦‍♀️

Thanks for the tips!

👍🏻👍🏻

I toast the naans a bit to warm them up (I keep them in the fridge).

I then put a generous dollop of salsa in the middle (pc single servenaans) and top that with a slice of real cheddar cheese. Microwave (don’t have a toaster oven atm) on high for 20 seconds and boy are they tasty for lunch.

very yummy.

but it's a balmy 21f.  Puttin' on shorts for my walk to the grocery store!

You must be MAD, Tim.  That’s minus 6°C. The doggies would be freezing.  And their owners.

Something changed here, it was supposed to be that cold here, but it's a balmy 21f.  Puttin' on shorts for my walk to the grocery store!

We've warmed up to a whopping 19°F. If were lucky we might get to 22. If that happens I'll break out the flip flops 🤣.

Don't believe him.

I'm willing to bet he's got on more layers than an onion. Its his husband who would be ok strolling to the store in shorts in sub zero weather. Apparently @MichaelS36 is a walking furnace.

Honestly.... not a bad skill set to have in the winter. Summer, not so much. Lol.

Inside, Michael would be in a cotton t-shirt and a pair of thin shorts, no socks. However, now and then He will say he feels cool. LOL.

Sounds like he's asking for a cuddle to warm up a bit. LOL

I’m wearing slipper socks over my socks, so I’d say that counts as two pairs.

Standard fare for me in winter, because damn are they cosy and warm.

Sounds warm.  i have a pair of  pizza socks i wear when i'm super cold.. They are not pretty, but they work.

I couldn’t imagine what on earth pizza socks are. I looked them up. Unreal! Do they really exist? Mine would have to be sin queso! Xxx

Oh, I don’t know about that. “Pizza” socks sound kinda cool if you ask me.

Mine are knitted with reindeer or evergreen tree patterns.
Found them in Dollarama a few years back, and they’re now an absolute must every winter.

I’m actually wearing a pair right now. :D

Silly question time.

is it unreasonable to lose one's temper when presented with blatant disrespect from someone who is totally incompetent?

I'll try to remember to take a pic of mine.  Someone gave them to me one year for Christmas.  They have anti-slip spots on the bottom.
