Thanks.  I think you are right.  I’m doing a storyboard and seeing how it goes.  It’s about a love story in Spain as Franco and his regime are beginning to die. Lots of research needed to get historical details as authentic as possible.

Oh, yes. Have fun with that. i'm always surprised at the amount of research needed to write my stories. Research brings cool things sometimes, like, Kodama. I'd never heard of them before.  Remember, however, during Franco's time, people did not have as much info or access to it, as you do now.  Something to consider.

V true. I’m going to use what was available in the (censored) press and TV for characters’ knowledge.
BTW, I so liked yr Kodama story.

Oh my... drama before I'm finished with my coffee is never a good thing.

My MIL's cat made a run for it as we were getting my MIL out the door so she and my husband could get to church. She bolted out the door( cat not MIL) before we even knew she was there. This is the first time she's pulled a Shawshank since I've been here.

Now, my husband actually likes the cat but as shes running around the back yard with him trying to catch her he was cussing up a storm. So much for being in a pious state of mind for the lord. Lol.

I ended up going out to help try to corral her back to the house. Here I am in what passes for pajamas in my life-- Christmas leggings (don't judge, I wear them all year, they're comfy)and a ratty oversized purple-ish t-shirt and maroon crocs. (My solution to sandals in the winter and they were only $8 at Aldi. They’re lined too).

We finally managed to herd her back on the porch then into the house. They still made it to church on time.

Now the little shit is on her window perch staring me down and I know shes judging my choice of sleepwear.

Have  good day everyone!

Beyond the call of (MIL) duty.  To avoid SIL and other family duty here in Valencia, we ar e heading to Pyrenees for a week in a tiny village.  Anything to avoid political arguments at Xmas eve dinner - moderate left v ultra right.  Add alcohol and retreat to, yes, the Pyrenees….

That's not what she's doing. She's plotting her revenge for you participating in her recapture. She will jump down from a high perch onto your head when you least expect it, because that's what cats do.

Oh and FYI- Crocks can be really slippery on wet surfaces. Ask me how I know and how glad I am for having a big backside that broke the fall. LOL

Smart. Very smart. The Pyrenees sounds lovely. I stopped letting family ruin the holidays years ago. I refuse to feed that sickness. I simply don't participate.

Bet you like me better now huh? Oh wait I shouldn't have said that your Husband already did enough cussing for a Sunday for you to add to it

So help me if that fleabag even thinks of jumping on my head or using her death daggers on me I swear I will personally escort her out the back door.

Oops! Maggie got out and I couldn't catch her.

Lucky for her she doesnt jump any higher than the window sill.

Demon.

Maybe that is what she only wants you to believe?  She could also leap again from her windowsill perch! 🤨

Well, of course she was, because “judge” is every cat’s middle name.

Back in the 90s, I had a cat who hid in our cedar hedge as we were about to go out to dinner one day. We didn’t take long to find him sat in there just watching us as we called him to come in (he actually usually did come when called).  My aunt was shocked he ignored us, because, why not, he didn’t want to come in as yet. 😂

Snowing out. Shovelled yesterday. We're supposed to get more, but i've had covid shot in the left arm and flu in the right. Neither really want to shovel anything, atm.  I think there is a little electric snow mover-y thingy somewhere. I will track it down, it should be able to do the bit of snow we'll get. Only the sidewalk and path needs doing if we get more. Michael and i shovelled it last night.

It is cold but not windy, so it was a nice walk to the pharmacy to get the vaccines.

Have a good day folks.

Got the covid and flu shots this weekend and I wouldn't want to shovel snow right now either.

I can't do vaccines do to allergies, but I still don't want to shovel!

Flu shot wasn't too bad, but Covid shot made my arm ache for 2 days.
