Perils of Cooking

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been forced to stop eating take-out for lunch and now have to eat my own cooking. I'm on my last load for this company, headed for the barn, as the saying goes.   I'm sitting in the first rest area on I-80 in Iowa thinking I shouldn't be writing this, but should be eating my breakfast and getting down the road. After all it's past 0800 and my 10 hours were up at 0700.   I'm writing like I'm crazy, again. Chapter 16 (5,500+ words) was done in one day. day two...

So my SUPER BIG BOY started first grade yesterday. I know SO early... but we have year round elemetary school here so... anyway. I was sorta pissed off yesterday when Rich and I went to drop him off cause they had the walkway all blocked off with signs saying 'No Parents Beyond This Point'... I'm like... yeah, he's 5. I know we were just here last night to see what class he was in and who his teacher was, and we walked over and showed it to him and where he is supposed to line up, but... yeah,

The Detroit Tigers are on a winning streak again ... well, it's only two games so far, but it sure beats how crappy they were doing the past couple weeks. AND, it looks as though Gary Sheffield will be back in the line-up tonight. Now, all they need to do is get Joel "Zoom-Zoom" Zumaya off the DL (aiming for Aug. 21st, baby!) and get Kenny Rogers back in shape, and we've got a good shot at the World Series again. The Down Escalator

I wish I could figure out how to make money with this. There should be some way to get this thing to be productive.   I hit my peak a couple days ago.   I'm still pumping out the words on The Pastel Cowboy, finished Chapter 15 and got it out the door. First off let me appologize for my last entry. I was really upset when I posted it, and the more I think about it, the angrier I'm getting. Mainly at myself for buying into a bunch of crap that I shouldn't have bought into. Today has been an amazing day. Taking Some Time For Myself

After a very stressfull 18 hours, I've decided to take a little time off of the internet and just chillax. I won't be writing and I won't be reading. I'll just be living my life.
