Weekly Wrap Up (Nov. 17 - Nov. 23)

    By wildone

Steve has climbed into his cave and don't wake him up until the end of April.  I think it it is @Slytherin's turn to stay awake this winter   That bear just happens to be the colour of outdoors.  We got dumped on the past week. No road lanes, no sidewalks, no nothing. All buried in snow. It is beautiful if you don't need to go out into it  Also, the temperature dropped into the minus celsius without windchill  Winter is here, I hereby declare. May you all share the wonder of it

Shoot Me Now

So it looks like I'm going against the firing squad for, well, things that should not have been said.   It's like waving a red flag at twenty thousand bulls.   My last blog post (now deleted to prevent continued offense) about the wonderful service of the Marines was meant to be a mere, light-hearted joke that reflects my own humor. And before I apologise for that particular incident, which caused an unsurmountably large uproar of dissaproval, you must realise that it was your choice to com

Freedom Of Speech And Everything That Comes With It

God, I hate that I am going to talk about politics so soon. But today calls for it.   Today, I saw something that shocked, hurt, and pained me. So, I left a long comment on it. I have no idea if it will be posted... so I am posting a similar piece on here.   I am a young man that champions the "Freedom of Speech" and I live by Voltaire's "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." but what I saw really tested my resolve. I do not merely disagree

Three For Isis

I read about the three young British women that left the UK, married into ISIS in Syria today and was reminded of a quote from an old friend.   He had taken the old saw, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink," and transformed it into "You can lead a whore to knowledge, but you can't make her think."   I bet they will be regretting their decision right about now. Wow, just to imagine renouncing the UK for ISIS boggles the mind. It does not compute. But for sure, the U.K.

Coming Soon- Slow Ride

Spring Break 1983   Three college kids facing serious drug charges have a chance to clear their records.   All they have to do is drive to Houston, pick up a load of drugs from some serious bad boys and, deliver them to the #1 guy in their college town.   Sounds simple. Living through it might get complicated.   Drive fast, run smart or die badly.   Staring:   JD   Chris & Cole   "Black Beauty"   Coming to GA August 2015.

I Almost Killed My Daughter’S New Boyfriend!

Started my vacation yesterday by waking up to rain, rain, rain, but that was okay. I had a bunch of indoors projects planned. Off to the bank, run errands, and hit the gym before going home to get cracking on a project when my daughter informed me that she invited her new boyfriend over for dinner.   I figured that was fine, it was still a few hours before dinnertime, so I pried open my new crate of ammunition and got to work. Multiple rounds in assorted calibers needed organizing. That’s

General Lee's Opinion On The Confederate Flag

This is General Robert E. Lee. He was the South's top General and had a brilliant record on the battlefield.   Lee was a gentleman. He was quite civilized and not to leave a trail of horrible battlefield atrocities. He was well thought of on both sides of the lines. He actually went to West Point with many of the Northern generals and considered them friends.   Recently when the furor over the state flags that took some of the symbols of confederate flags, I decided to read up on Robert E. A Tri-Forum

So you might've seen my latest forums called Eews-Day Tuesday, Whinge Binge Wednesday and ThugLife Thursday. 3 forums. 3 chances fof you to tell some stories. 3 more times for me to up my reputation points.   Anyway, I notice that Eews-day Tuesday seems to be getting more popularity than the other two. So I just wanted to get a poll here. 1. Which forum is your favourite out of the 3? 2. Which one would you want to see scrapped?   I would appreciate your thoughts on this guys

152 Years Ago, The United States Was Saved From Breakup

Today, July 1st, marks the beginning of the three day clash that is today known as the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863. For those of you not up on American history, Gettysburg is a small town in the northern state of Pennsylvania. The Confederate Army's move into Pennsylvania was it's first (and only) attempt at invading into Northern soil, as the war up to that point had taken place primarily in Virginia and Maryland. Long story short, over three days of incredibly bloody fighting, the Confederate

Just Another Day

I think I might have inherited my mom's acting skills. Whenever my dad would yell at her, yeah, she'll yell back and get all upset, but then managed to go on like nothing ever happened. Even smile at the townsfolk and making small talk.   I think I can do that too. I'll be laughing and joking around even after my sister goes crazy on me just because I was holding on something dear to me, and threatened to destroy it. It might not be much, sad even, but it's mine. And I'm happy with it. I was a

To Shave Or Not To Shave Pubes?

No, I won't post images of the pre and post effects of trying out a clean look, site rules et al, Still, I just thought of sharing some thoughts on this practice.   As some of you know, I am starting to get more into exercising and running in general, so one thing I noticed was that I was getting sweaty in my crotch area a lot more. Well after a few days of thinking, I thought, why not shave some of the pubes off to reduce the heat build up, then I took the big dive and went all the way. Trad

Reflections: My One Year Anniversary

On this day, June 29, 2015, I celebrate one year as a member of GA.   To mark this day, I want to take a look at how I became a member, reflect on my first year, and take a guess at my future here.    Becoming a Member: One day in early June, I was perusing through Nifty's SF-Fantasy section and I came across a story called Your Alpha, My Mate. It was just one chapter at the time, and I read it and I was hooked. Of course, the author added a note that she would add on soon. W

Robert E. Lee And The Confederacy

As a boy, I was asked by our social studies teacher which famous person I admired most. I answered Robert E. Lee. Lindsey Graham reminded me of my boyhood choice in a recent news article, in which he said Yea to removing the Confederate Flag from public buildings, but Nay to renaming all the roads and schools that are named after Robert E. Lee.   Curious, I looked up the Wikipedia article on Robert E. Lee. My education on history is not all-encompassing. I know the general outline of Western h

Congrats To The United States!

Read a very interesting article, which didn't bring in politics   The Declaration of Independence   The right to Life; the upholding of Obamacare to ensure all Americans have the right to live and have access to the medical treatment to pursue that.   The right to Liberty; States removing the Confederate Flag and symbols of the flag which is looked upon by the majority of Americans as being as a symbol of old attitudes and discrimination.   The right to the Pursuit of Happiness; Marriag

Some Things To Come

Congratulations to everyone with Partners, who are getting ready to be hitched across all 50 States and US territories. This is a momentous victory, but one that must be tempered by rationalism. I will just give a quick breakdown on what the current landscape looks like.   Read if you want to hear politics and some pointed opinions.         Now, onto some good old fashioned story items:   I am writing something new called Blue Rose, the idea is inspired by the variations of Blue Roses

Out And Proud

Today, inspired by the good feels of Oslo's Pride celebration, I had a very public coming out on Facebook (very public; I even set it to 'public' so that any bigots who want to friend me will be able to see it and think better of it). I don't know what I expected, but my friends have just been heaping love and support on me, which is really wonderful. My mum hasn't acknowledged the post, though. I don't know if she just hasn't seen it yet or doesn't know how to handle it or what...   W

Release Day Announcement: Guitars And Cages

Today is the day! Guitars and Cages (formerly known as Guitars and Crossdressers) was released today by wayward ink. I cannot thank enough those who followed, liked, encouraged, reviewed and got behind Asher's story as it was being created.   I am including here a link to my blog with book trailer, link and expert from the novel, as well as in invite to join me in a quick happy dance. This is a dream come true.   http://rainbowlyricsandmellowmushrooms.blogspot.com/2015/06/guitars-and-cages

Basking Sharks

If you read Abel III's Awakening you know it involves telepathy. In my story, Basking Sharks on earth formed a primitive telepathic network in the world's oceans and seas. The news from Australia shows a picture of one that was inadvertently caught and the article is located at the following URL   http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/huge-20ft-basking-shark-caught-accidentally-by-fishing-trawler-in-australia-to-go-in-museum/ar-AAbZ0qps   The more descriptive Wiki article on this species is f

A Short Update

I'm not here as often as I used to or want to. If I read stories or forum entries, I do that in the car, a hospital room or some hallway on my phone. Therefore I don't comment on them and I apologize. A member of my family is seriously ill and although she isn't my favorite person, she is still family and I support my family.   I am writing and Cole agreed to beta-read for me. If it is any good there will be a new story from me, probably when summer is over.   Thank you. aditus

New Story, Punk Bitches!

Thanks to the brilliant ATrueFan's suggestion, I've uploaded one of my fanfiction stories on here. Yes, the Jordanator has a new story for you to read. This one is very different to Someone Like Me. It had no romance or any gay material in it. It's based on my favourite video game, Portal. If you haven't played it, you should. But if you don't want to, I think this will make this story a whole lot more interesting.   See, when others read fanfiction on say a TV show they have no idea what it'
