B) ...........Wow, great chapter Jack :worship: , you sure didn't wait long to drop the shoe! Cray & Michael definately have balls coming out with their relationship to their freinds, I wonder if their attitude toward the pair has any bearing on Crays "status" I liked the way Benny broached the subject to Cray, and I noted that he was fishing for a little info. Benny obviously knows that Cray is well connected and dropped the line of inquiry. Then you drop the other shoe with the hit of the Gallian family, well things are going to real interesting!! I lived in Vegas all my life and I congratulate you on your research, I could actually follow all of their movements thru the valley. Great chapter Jack!! I look forward to the next chapter

Great chapter Jack. You did manage to turn the heat up bit more with this chapter. I had figured that some one would pick up something about Cray and Micheal sooner or later.

The heat will only get hotter. I wanted to project the 21st century version of a "hitting the mattresses" scenerio. Life for all (well, most), however, does go on and Cray/Michael are becoming comfortable as a couple.

I think I mention, Benji, that I did live in Las Vegas some time ago and occasionally visit that amazing city. I did notice that the 3 billion dollar Cosmopolitan casino/resort development may be in deep doo-doo because of the lender default. http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp?S=7689467

B) ......Oh, I remember that you said that you lived here, its just that this town grows so fast. I remember :*) way back when, after being overseas for over a year and when I got back I actually got lost and wound up in the northeast section of town.

I understand what you mean. Beyond the Strip, downtown and Green Valley, I need a map.

BTW, breaking news as of 1124 a.m., PST, there seems to be a serious fire in the top floors of the Monte Carlo Casino Resort. This is to the north of New York, New York and almost across the street from the MGM.

Several hotels are being evacuated; four Monte Carlo employees are trapped on the roof (at 1:37pm CST). Hmmm....wonder if the Russians will try to torch the Barcelona?

RPG's???

Russians???

Uhoh... The you-know-what has just his the air-moving device.

The buisness talk at the beginning was particularly well done IMHO. Corporate dynamics are often hard to describe clearly, and that gave a good, concise picture of the buisness climate for the casino. :2thumbs:

Chapter 20 was something else! Very well done, Jack! :worship:

Lots of action, really great! Mario was so cool! Have I mentioned I love Mario? I loved his "Marine" line.

I also liked Cray's "used dick juice" line. :D He and Michael are really cute together.

Author! Author! Author!

The plot has certainly thickened... gun fights... explosions. I cannot wait to see what happens next week. The guys are certainly in for the fight of their lives.

I wanted to create what a 21st century version of "hitting the mattresses" might be like. Also, that there are dark situations/criminal elements around everyone and most times we aren't aware of it. Or, in Drew's case, he has deep suspicions about Nick and the Gallian family. However, he's reluctant to share that with his partner because of Bob's sister being married to young Al. He is becoming conflicted.

Whew...sounds like a soap opera! :P Stay tuned.

Mario is a rogue but likeable. Only Spike is beginning to appreciate that Mario is much more than just a guy running an escort service. 0:)

You definitly succeed in doing that :worship::)

This is a good script for an action movie !

Can't wait to see it at the movies :P

Definitely not a soap opera...much more action and much less talk. I agree with YaP:

I guess it pays to have friends in low places.

Wow, and when I was reading 19 I thought life was settling down for the boys of Vegas. Maybe the end of a great story. And then BAM the fast action of the hits. I love the way you go from semi-calm to action. I'm worried about Cray now. We know he should be safe, but this new mystery date of Michaels father, would be easy to try and get Cray to get to Bob and Drew and Nick. I'm glad the boys know Tai Chi and can take care of any problem that may come up!

If this is a roller coaster ride, then I don't want to get off.
