Trying not to stress about things -- it's too late to change anything at this point so what it is is what it is. Try not to worry. I remember only the look in tim's eyes that day. It told me all I needed to know. Best wishes. Enjoy yourselves and your company. 1 5
Popular Post Fae Briona Posted December 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 1, 2021 We survived the wedding with minimal breakdowns - a small episode when SP realized the very ambitious decorating plan wasn't going to be fully implemented because of a late start Sunday evening and Monday morning; but I was able to bring him down and convince him it would be fine. And it was. Both of us broke down a bit during out vows, but that we both expected. Moments of great love and happiness, like our first dance (to Looking-Glass Sea by Eurasure from the Dick Tracy Soundtrack). Worth the intense pain I was in by the end of the night. Food was good, cake was WONDERFUL, and we've received a lot of compliments on the decor. 1 10

Popular Post kbois Posted December 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 2, 2021 Have you ever worked with someone and from day one you just clicked? I had one of those co-workers at my last job. We jokingly called each other our 'work-wife'. I've missed her camaraderie, her wit and her really dirty sense of humor. We still text semi-regularly, but with everything going on the past two years, we've only seen each other once. That's about to change. We have a dinner date tonight, hopefully hubby can make it if he's not too tired. It's going to be an evening of good food, a few adult beverages and best of all, catching up with a good friend. I'm looking forward to it. Lately I've been a little down in the dumps and today I have something to look forward to. I hope everyone is having a good day! 5 1

She's my sister from another mister, and I'm her brother from another mother. We still work together and that's going on 15 years. Partners in crime, through thick and thin, are we. I'm glad you're getting to re-connect tonight. I hope you have an amazing time! 1 2

It was actually last night and yes, I had a great evening catching up. Lots of laughs, with a few snorts thrown in for good measure. An added bonus... I tried Keels Pecan Pie Hard Cider. OMFG. So good! 3 1

That sounds WAY too sweet for me, but the flavors are intriguing! I've been a writing fool. I'm well into chapter five of my new one, and man, it feels good. Scenes come to me and play across my mind like I'm watching them on a movie. It. Is. ODD. But I'll take it. Having a bit of rum now after a marathon of a day. Tomorrow I gotta do a lot of cleaning and cooking. Going to have company and I'm in charge of dinner - short ribs, cheesy grits, broccoli are all on the menu! I hope you're all having a stunning evening. 3 3

Popular Post kbois Posted December 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 5, 2021 If anyone would have told me last year that I'd be the one outside climbing an 8ft ladder a couple of dozen times stringing Christmas lights up on the house after doing 45 minutes on the elliptical, I would've told them they were nuts. But lo and behold, 80 feet of lights are hung. December and I was sweating my tail off the whole time. Only in Florida do you need sunscreen to put up Christmas decorations. I'm beat but still have to clean the living room and figure out how to rearrange the furniture so my son can work on the getting the tree done this week. We have an extra chair and loveseat that we didn't have last year. I think some Tetris skills are needed. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 3 3
