Thank you. It's rare that I'm not positive. It does happen but not too often. I do love to laugh, life without laughter and love isn't worth living. 

tim is doing okay. We'll spend a quiet day today.

Just got back from my walk, and ye gods, it’s hot out there (90F but feels like 102F or 32C but feels like 39C) 

Oh, and guess what? Banff National Park in Alberta is getting snowed on.

It is insanely hot. Our AC is on energy saver ... usually it turns off and on during the day.. so far since noon... it's been on.   I did see the thing about Banff. How wild is that?

90s and heat indexes over 100 are normal for us this time of year. What sucks is the ac in the office can only be set on Arctic Freeze or Satan's Hell. There is no in between, so.....Arctic Freeze it is. I occasionally step outside to thaw out. 🥵🥶🥵🥶🥵🥶

Very wild, that’s for sure. 

I’m quite cool now because I put too many - 4 - ice cubes in my water. Forgot plain water isn’t quite the same as iced coffee....

this has been the day to learn patience.

i was off work and had a few outside jobs. so here in Ohio it is Hot this am it was in the 80’s. so was working away and stepped in a gopher hole and twisted my ankle. so to be on the safe side i went to ER. this is where the lessons started 2.5 hours wait time in the lobby. then went to the back area and started to see the Doctor she needed a X-ray and this wait was 1.5 hours. luckily it is just a bad sprain nothing broken. Rest, Ice and my ankle wrapped. just wanted to stop in and say Hi. 

so sitting in the recliner taking it easy.

I'm glad you're OK. Keep the ankle up and feel better soon! 

Surprisingly everyone behaved at my work. I had a nice surprise when I got home. My hubby had the day off and in addition to mowing the lawn (hot and humid) he did the floors for me, got most of the laundry done AND bathed one of the dogs (the stinker one). 

He said "I want to spend the morning with you tomorrow, not cleaning like you usually do." I love this guy!

Take care of yourself, rick. A sprained ankle still needs to be looked after. Damn gophers...

yes Sir, that is the plan for today. the swelling and tenderness is better. so keeping the ankle elevated and iced every 2 hours.
