Lee Wilson Posted February 3 Posted February 3 1 hour ago, Jason Rimbaud said: This must be my day to complain about customers. I get a phone call, can I have my wings extra crispy? We can do that. "Are you wanting crispy wings or well done chicken?" Crispy? "Well, cooking chicken longer doesn't make it crispy, it just makes them dry. Being crispy is about the breading and ingredients you use. Our wings are very crispy, tender and moist inside" "I want them extra crispy. just cook them longer. Okay. Will do." Gets wings, complains about them being dry. When you change our cooking method, you don't get to complain when they aren't right. I told you they were going to be dry, I warned you. Not my fault nor my problem. Full disclosure, usually when someone asked me for extra crispy, I say yes and then just bring them my standard cooked wings. They never complain, because I use the right ingredients to make my wings crispy. But for some reason I cooked them longer for her. I don't feel bad. She left me a bad review, so I'm contesting it. Worth it. Honestly, your honor, she choked on a chicken bone, I didn’t strangle her. 4 Quote
Popular Post Jason Rimbaud Posted February 8 Author Popular Post Posted February 8 So It's Saturday, February 7th, the night before Super Bowl Sports Balls game. I'm still at work, it's nearly nine pm here. I've been in the restaurant since 6am. We have all week Super Bowl themed madness because...I don't know why. But it's been a really great week for me, business wise. Personally, I'm exhausted and will be back in the restaurant tomorrow morning at 6am. We are going to be crazy busy and I can't wait until this madness is over. That being said, for those of you that have been waiting patiently for Frosted Hearts to post the next chapter, I'm sorry. But this real life has gotten in the way. For those of you that was expecting a new Gabriel's Gambit posting, I apologize, as Sports Balls Games have gotten in the way. I shall resume normal postings after I rest up from these last two weeks. And I have spoken to Myr, and he has agreed, anyone who watches the Sports balls Games tomorrow will not be given access to any new chapters I post until thirty seconds after everyone else has access. If you wear a jersey of a sports team while watching the game, thirty seconds after that. I apologize for being so mean to all of you, but I don't make the rules. And these last from here until eternity. And for anyone who cares, I predict that the Seahawks will be the victor, by seven points. I will now return all of you to your regularly scheduled programs across most of these same stations. 2 1 3 Quote

I’m going to have to disagree with you. I’ve been having a shitty day and I hate the Patriots, so they are going to cap off a bad day by winning the Stupid Bowl. At least it’s no longer the Swifter Bowl. So all you bettors out there, take heed and take the Fats, er, Pats. Edited February 8 by Lee Wilson Addition 1 1 3 Quote

Popular Post Jason Rimbaud Posted February 9 Author Popular Post Posted February 9 I don't know who won the SuperBowl, but I do know I won the day! Whew, glad that's over. Total Cost: I can barely put weight on my left foot, my right knee hurts so bad I might cut it off, my left shoulder is so sore I can't lift my arm above my chest, but I saved a bundle on my car insurance.... It might take me a few days to get over this past week, but overall it was a success far greater than I anticipated. My staff was amazing and went over the call of duty and I couldn't be prouder of them. 8 Quote
Site Administrator wildone Posted February 9 Site Administrator Posted February 9 AS a person with only one leg... don't cut it off But you only mentioned cutting your knee off, can you do that and keep the upper and lower part of your leg I'm glad that although painful, you exceeded your wishes LOL. Just teasing you 1 3 1 Quote

Speaking as a bald man, not by choice, I get so angry! Or when I see someone with long flowing hair and it's dry, has split ends. That makes me want to punch babies. Like you have hair, take care of it. 26 minutes ago, wildone said: But you only mentioned cutting your knee off, can you do that and keep the upper and lower part of your leg Though I do play doctor with the neighbor's, I do not have a degree. So I am not sure if what I want to do is possible or not. But my damn knee hurts and I want it to stop. Full disclosure, I banged it rather hard into something and the moment I did, I knew that had been a huge mistake. Luckily, the more I walked around today, my foot hurt less. Though when I did manage to sit down, it was a bit difficult to get back up again. I'm not sure when I got old but here I am. Thirty years of standing on my feet for twelve or more hours has caught up to my old, tired, ass. 28 minutes ago, wildone said: LOL. I can identify. 35 years of standing on my feet 8 to 13 hours a day took a toll on my feet, ankles, and knees. However, I can only offer my sympathy and some empathy at this point. 1 2 2 Quote

My plan is working.... Step One: Get Cassie's sympathy. Step Two: Get her to disclose her location Step Three: Arrive fifty minutes late, drinking coffee, smoking a cigarette, and then talking on the phone for ten minutes while giving her one raised finger as if to say, hold on a minute Step Four: Learn to eat all my food in liquid form from a straw. . 7 Quote

They just put you back together with components and the parts of your knee that are still functional. 3 3 Quote

Those of us with actual green thumbs, understand there are times when you have to get your hands dirty, down into the dark soil, to ensure things are packed tight enough for the seed you planted, to get the nutrients required to grow to fruition. 4 1 Quote
