Sounds like they deserve it. An in addition what's the name of the Boss, personnel direction and who ever relevant I'll find their individual offices  and crap in a strategic place

i rarely know what the actual day is. i often feel like it's Sunday. But weird things happen to you when you have few responsibilities anymore. Days just merge together and are forgotten unless you have appointments.

Happy Thursday. (doing this helps me remember what day it is usually, Lol)   It is also World Dream Day.. yes that is a thing... these are not sleepy time dreams however but other kinda dreams like, i'd like to own a horse, or i'd like to move to a warmer place, or i'd like to publish a book (no, that's not my dream) or i'd like to be the CEO of the world, you know stuff like that, or more rational dreams like, i'd like to have my own house, or i'd like to buy a car, or i'd like to be a doctor.. like that. Anyway, they are your dreams, so dream them and maybe on World Dream Day take a step toward making that dream come true. Have a good one peoples.

Happy Friday. Yee haw. Can you sense my lack of enthusiasm?  Oh well. I'm sure some of you feel the exact opposite and i'm glad for that!! 

On that lacklustre note, please know it is World Cassowary Day... if you see one you are likely in Australia, New Guinea or Indonesia. There are three types… the Northern, the Southern and the Dwarf. Interesting.

Happy Sunday. Today is World Rivers Day.  We have a few rivers in Toronto, The Don and The Humber and The Rouge Rivers, then we have a ton of creeks. Sorry creeks, it's not your day!  But if you live near a creek, be nice to it as it just wants to be a river.

Only a few days ago we crossed and recrossed the enormously wide Rhône as it passed through Avignon.  Holiday over: 5,000 km in a Peugeot 208 with Paco and the monsters, plus by the end 13 suitcases, rucksacks, and plastic bags and plastic bags and plastic bags.   Now exhausted but ready for the severe weather which hits Valencia at 04.00.  Went on to terrace.  It’s 35° C, brilliant sunshine ahead…. And behind the clouds are gathering over the mountains…. 

Just seen Ryder Cup golf scores. No comment, of course, here……

Where you live would be a vacation for me.  However, the weather here is lovely 20c or 68f.  Currently baking hamburger buns since we cannot find whole wheat anything lately in our local store. I'd rather make them myself anyway. I can get 10 for the price of 6. And i'm baking a 6" lil cake because we want cake. It's whole wheat too. We'll see how it comes out. 

I hope your bad weather isn't too bad and that you enjoyed your holiday.

The lil cake is cute and good for us three for two days. We can't have big pieces of cake even though i want one..lol  So this is Michael's b-day cake just very late.  

The buns came out great. The recipe called for 2.5 tablespoons of sugar, which i didn't put in. Bread should not be sweet unless it's hot cross buns, panettone, or other sweet bread. Sandwich bread, baguettes, or sandwich rolls and even dinner rolls should not be sweet! 

This was a rich recipe anyway. Milk, egg and butter make a very rich dough, it doesn't have to be sweetened as well. And yeast does not need you to add sugar in order to work.  

Ok.. i'm tired and need a nap. I'll see you all later on.

Its 83F today... about 28ish C? Its too warm for me. I want cool air!!

I'm making meat sauce for spaghetti tonight and I still have to make some turkey meatballs. My MIL is peeling little baby apples that my SIL got from their property in NH. Apple pie á la mode for dessert!

it was brisket cook-off weekend. no trophy this year, 😔 but we got all of this vacuum sealed and in the freezer. i love that He loves to do this, even when He doesn't win.

Holiday was WONDERFUL. The wiener dogs were well-behaved and it appears that the French love them.  So many people stopped to greet them.  Lilibeth was in heaven.   
now stormy. Schools closed tomorrow…. I might even get some writing done.🤞

Lots of nearly ready meals in your future... yummy.  He takes part, you can win if you don't but even if there's no prize, He's still won. Looks terrific... mmmm

Geez less then a couple months out of Florida and you're already an wuss(kidding😄 I DO!!!! remember humid days in Mass.)

I've never minded the cold weather.  It's icy rain that's the worst.  I'll take snow over freezing rain any day. Also its not cold unless this happens:
