We often expect old people to be stuffy when it comes to humor, but today that stereotype was thrown out the window.   Now that I've graduated, my school has cut off my gym privileges so I've had to start going to a local gym around the corner. Vacation

So, finally back from vacation. Did I have a good time? Shrugs. Cozumel is a great place. I visited there several years ago when hubby and I did a cruise.   Our resort was all inclusive. Drinks and eats free, lots of activities, etc. It was ok. Nothing wonderful, but clean, nice folks, and our room and view was to die for. We got up, sat on our balcony and watched the cruise ships dock every morning. The pool and pool bar was right below us. So, that was a plus.   We met a lot of n

Post-Grad Life Update

So I graduated. It was the first time that a graduation actually felt like an accomplishment of sorts. Graduating high school wasn't really an accomplishment because if you IQ was above the single digits you would have to work to NOT graduate. They basically spoon feed you through, which IMO does a disservice to those going to college. But thats a different topic. But yeah, I was actually really proud of myself for finishing on time because college was a lot of work, especially the last two year

Silence

It's been five days since her passing and I have yet to have a heavy cry. I know it's in me, but for some reason I'm holding it back. Everywhere I look I see something that remains me of her. Some memory of the past. I keep expecting to hear her voice or see her walking down the hall. But all there is is silence. The house seems so empty now, even when dad is here. Friends stop by, but there's little comfort in their visits. I miss my mom and best friend.
