Judgemental much?

Wow. Been away for a mini vacation and am finally back. One of the reasons I have always loved getting on this site was the fact most people are respectful. I say most because I don't care where you go there are going to be a few who feel everyone is entitled to their opinion.   First off, I know I'm old. Day 15

Day 15, Feburary 10th   I continued working on Box 5. One interesting find was a pamplet on what soldiers should do if they find a Boche gun, aka a German machine gun. I suppose that must have been quite a boon for Allied soldiers, as the pamplet seemed to suggest that finding a German machine gun was something desirable. Going Metric

Way back in 8th grade, (or the late seventies) I did a whole semester on the Metric System (SI). We were told that its adoption was imminent. The jolly old US was the only major country still using the old English system.   I've been waiting ever since.   The metric system is so elegant. Grams, meters, liters. Oops

I wait for things to happen, like today when I broke the television not more than an hour after my son left for work. A number of weeks ago I bought him a 42 inch TV and thought now was a good time to get an HD box from infinity. PAIN is a four letter word

Okay so pain is not something I am use to. I have been dealing with my back pain but then my diverticulitis acted up as well. Or I am assuming it did. The pain I have been dealing with has been more than I am use to and while I can usually ignore pain to a certain level this is enough to make me stop and drop to my knees. Turning 3 decades old

So my best friend who is a few months younger than me had to tell that I should tell people I am 3 decades old other than turning 30. Wow its been a while since I updated here.

Hello everyone!   Its been a while since i updated my writing blog.   I moved to university in September so I haven't had that much time to write.   I have 'finished' Womans Game 2, i'm currently working through Cia's comments and i've kind of re-created the idea of the story in Book 2. Internship Day 7, 8, 9

Day 7 January 27th   I finished sorting through Box 8. Now I'm working on Box 10.   Day 8 January 31st   Going through Box 10, I found a manual for young officers. It was from 1907. I know that George Watson was born in 1881, which means he would have been about 26 years old when he got that manual, and presumably became an officer in the army.
