Silly Concerns

Get ready for my usual hodge podge again.   1) The computer is sent out and now I have about a 10 days left till it is back. Can I tell you how nuts I am without a computer?   2) I am working on a project again. I figured I have to do something while I don't have a computer. Blogging is fun, even for overly organized people

I like blogging. I like just sitting around and thinking or chatting about a topic. Writing out my thoughts is nice because it helps me frame them in a more concrete way. It's nice just doing it in my head, but it's more fun and more satisfying on a computer screen...not on a piece of paper, physically writing sucks. Typing is nice though. Back from Europe

I just came back from across the Atlantic and I have a lot of new takes on ideas and thoughts.   European culture is something American too often ignore, sadly, but it is very integrated to everything that the US in terms of our customs and ideas are about. Death of a Computer

Christmas Gifts

Why is life so distracting?

I am writing, wohoo!

My creative juices are flowing along with coffee and urine, but it feels good.   I will attempt to write a story before I head off on vacation for fun. Christmas Break

Going to Texas to visit my brother and his family.   Going off line- unplugged, shudown, tuned out.   Finding a cat sitter was difficult. Strange thing I noticed reading anthology

Did anyone take a notice at what stories seem to have the most length?   I know, I know, it doesn't matter how big the word count is, but how you write your story   I just noticed this by accident, but Bill W., Altimex, and W.L (me), were the three longest in word count.   Also, all three of us wrote science fiction stories, using different ideas and different points of view.   Just an observation

Missing Stuff

Facing Facts

Writing Mothers

This is going to come as a surprise to some of you but I have trouble writing female characters. For some reason they fall flat and seem one deminsional. I especially have trouble writing mothers.
