If you can find it online, maybe dig it up and post the whole thing on Live-Poets Thanks again There you go AC... Death Is Nothing At All By Henry Scott-Holland Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again! 7 Link to comment

MrM
Very beautiful work guys. I don't post here very much but I thought I'd share this one. I'm just about finished with what @Comicality has posted for his story Gone From Daylight that, like many others, I love very much. It has inspired a poem and other things that I'm doing at the moment. This is The Last Sunset: https://www.gayauthors.org/story/mrm/MPoetry/17 Edited August 5, 2017 by MrM 2 Link to comment

Popular Post AC Benus
Something I posted here. The reactions to this poem intrigue me.... Let me know what you think. Tony Sonnet No. 66 Love is a prism that refracts the light And bends the loved one into his base parts – Split into jewel tones he rises in sight More gleaming than has the power of arts. Sometimes with you, I have to use my hand, Draw it up to my forehead to make shade, Because your light is more than I can stand, And when it burns brightest, I am afraid. But the crystal pure that is deep inside Filters out every harshness for my eyes To show me the pure you and where you abide Channeled into color that never dies. Rainbow arcs fleetly grace the sky in a storm, But prism bands live always in perfect form. _ Edited August 14, 2017 by AC Benus 6 Link to comment
