Thanks for this great site - stumbled on it quite by accident when i couldnt get enough of comicality's stories -

Imagine my joy when i found on one website all the kinds of stories i enjoy

In my opinion a good story - like good music - should evoke strong emotions in me and the wonderfull authors

on this site has made me laugh, made me cry and importantly, made me think

 

I cant wait to discover more great stories and authors and eagerly await the updates on existing stories

Hey everyone

Ive actually been lurking this site for quite some time, about a year (Leave to a 14 year old boy to find a websiteof gay smut, or so I thought it was), and just now got the guts to actually join the website, as I've had some ideas of my own for quite some time now.

 

I'm John, usually go by J but you can call me whichever you prefer, and I'm currently 15 years of age (bit young. i know, but whatever hahah)I'm in an amazing relationship with a guy named Dylan who's a little under a year younger than me, and it's been great for the year that we've been together. I've taken yearbook for 2 years, the latter year being a year I also took journalism, so I do have a bit of experience writing.

 

I realized when I read A New Life that this site was more than just a smut site, it was a story site with novels that have made me laugh, smile, (and even cry at times).

 

I look forward to experiencing the community and writing a few stories of my own

Well this is really screwed up lol!! I have to rethink my whole life now For so long i havent allowed myself to feel anything - after my normal teenage crushes (both guys and girls)- i was very promiscuos lol - could identify with a lot of the "badboys"in these stories - then i met a guy - sex was great I wanted more He didnt - i left him he hooked up with someone else and actually gave him what i wanted - karma i suppose - then i met a girl fell in love again got engaged and caught her with one of my best friends - karma again - decided no more heartache for me and havent felt a thing for anyone for the past 18 years - except of course for my 2 beautifull godsons - for them id move heaven and earth - now along come these wonderfully written stories - piercing my carefully built wall - showing me that maybe my heart still can feel something - maybe it "wants" to still feel something lol -

Anyway thank you all you wonderfull authors and your beautifully written stories - you have pierced my concrete heart and made me realise that in order to really live you have to have your heart in it also else it just is a half a life and thats not what the Good Lord intended

Please keep up the good work - stories do indeed also help a hardened soul

I've decided to join this community as part of my personal journey to better myself. I'm 23 and just ended a relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years. Writing has always been an outlet for me to deal with emotions and express my feelings in ways that otherwise aren't possible for me.

 

I'm turning the past 3 years of my life into a story. And instead of keeping it to myself, I want to share it with anyone willing to read. There's plenty of humor, excitement, love, depression, heartbreak, personal conviction, and ultimately triumph in this story. I hope at least one person will be able to enjoy the way I take this chapter of my life and turn it into a story and benefit them in some way. But I'm using this as an outlet for myself over anything to express how I feel in the only way I know how.

 

I look forward to reading some of the other stories on here also and to see what you think of mine. Now if someone could direct me to the most appropriate place to begin a thread with the first chapter of my story that would be great =)

As for where to post. In your profile you have a tab for a blog if you just want to blog it. If you want to put it in the form of a story you need to request author status if you are not already.  Once that is done, on the left side of your profile you'll see navigation tabs and one marked "My Stories" Click it and follow the prompts!

You can also send a private message to the author, if you don't want your comments to be public.

 

The best reward an author can receive is feedback on the story, so thoughtful critique is like gold. Please spend it freely, and I hope we get to see more of you around here. Welcome.

I get ashamed to remember that I used to work as a computer technician, but I gotta ask... here at the new members forum:

 

I guess some of what i'm asking has to do with the 5 posts things.. (and thanks that's a push to start writing soon to have something useful to post lol).. so here it goes:

How can I reply the nice messages I get here in the forum to the person who wrote to me?

I see something called 'gallery' in my profile. How can I upload a few pics of mine (only profile seems little right.. .mainly because of the people who like stalking.. i don't mind being stalked.. but i can't post pictures to make it worth it (decent pictures i mean)).

1. You can quote the post they made and respond to each one that way To quote a post, just go to the lower right corner of the post and you will see MultiQuote and Quote.  MultiQuote allows you to quote different posts and Quote allows you to quote just one that you choose. 

 

Or you can use Personal Messenger and send a thank you to each one if you prefer. Just go to the profile of the member you want and go to the upper right corner of the profile page. You will see an option that says "Send Me a Message" click on that and you can type and send a message

 

2. Just go to the Gallery page, and click the "Upload" button in the upper right corner of the page. Then choose "New Album" and name it. Once that is done, you can upload an image(s) (total: 25 MB max) by clicking on the album and then click "Choose Files" on the lower left corner... and after you review, you publish and Voila!!!

To send a message simply go to the messages icon and select 'Compose New'. You can upload images in the gallery by creating an album. Then following the links to upload your image.

Hi Phillip,

The PM feature is one of those things not open to new members until you have 5 posts in the forum. It's an anti-spam feature. And there are a few places in the forums that don't count. The only one I can remember at this time is the humor forum. Look under your avatar, right now you only have two active posts. Do three more and the Private messaging should open up to you.
