it's Friday. i know it wasn't an easy week for anyone. SO in order to put it away & start the weekend on a good note please tell us 2 good things from the week.

1) it looks like my project that went to he&& is going to wrap up soon & customer has stopped beginning & ending each email with "we are in week 20 of a 9 week project."

2) i/we got the highest compliment possible "i would recommend this company to others"

ok... your turn

1) I also got a nice compliment. I had a resident tell me "I  just want you to know you've been doing a wonderful job so far. In case no one has said so, we really appreciate you."

2) I've hit a small plateau in my weight loss journey (no change in 4 days) BUT... I realize that it's perfectly normal and I'm OK with it. I've lost 15lbs since March 1st. That's what I'm focusing on.

Congratulations on your accomplishments molly!

Hello all.  Posting from the local children's hospital because LittleOne did poorly after surgery and has been admitted.

Its been a terrifying day.

He's doing better now, but for a few hours earlier he was on 10L of oxygen trying to readjust after anathesia

I’m really sorry to hear LittleOne is having a tough go of it right now - and you too, Starry. It’s good to hear he’s doing better, and I hope that keeps up.

  to you both.

Those random compliments are the best.  :)

My poetry skills are mediocre at best. But to celebrate the end of snowbird season I tried my hand at a limerick:

There are lots of birds called Snow

South to Florida they flow

With dollars to spend

And Sun with no end

Season is over, NOW GO!!

👵🧓👵🧓👵🕊🕊🕊🕊🤣🤣

Have a good day everyone!

Good evening, folks.

Tonight I'm listening to country music (to really get into the groove for my new story), working through my outline for mentioned story, and just chilling. It's a nice night here in Northern California.

I hope you are all doing well.

By the way, I love the very English word "gutted". Now that I know it, I keep struggling to find substitutions for it because it's the BEST WORD for certain things.

"Missing that goal really gutted John."

You know instantly what it means. It has so much more impact than "disappointed" and its ilk.

I'm gonna start using it. I don't care. Stealing it.

2 can play this game....

It's been almost 2 years since @Wayne Gray ended Bluegrass Symphony leaving his loyal readers gutted.

LOL

Sorry, but you said country music in your first post and I couldn't resist.😉

I'm a big fan of 'gut wrenching'. As in: "It was gut wrenching to realize that Wayne had screwed up." 🤣🤣

I bought a breadmaker for myself for Mother's Day and tried my hand at a loaf of wheat bread. It came out pretty decent. Really tasty but a bit on the denser side. I think it was because I used Almond milk. The only thing I did wrong was grab the wire handle without a pot holder while it was still in the warm mode. Oops.

Tomorrow is the start of another six day work week. My bank account loves it, but I don't. Can't wait for vacation at the end of the month!

Have a good night!
