Snowblind Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Susan Aglukark from 1996. I doubt many of you have heard this one.
Marty Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 (edited) The following song came to my mind when part of my reply to a reader's question about one of the characters in one of my GA stories finished with the words "Sometimes some of the questions we may ask in life just never get answered." The story of mine that I was commenting on is The Charmed Life of Danny Murphy: Spoiler Edited July 21, 2019 by Marty 1 1
Thorn Wilde Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Swearword in the title, so I'm putting the video in a spoiler, just in case, lol Spoiler 1
Thorn Wilde Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I was lucky enough to see this remarkable young lady in concert today. It's not normally my genre, but omg, I had such a good time, she was so good, and this song just makes me so happy!

Wayne Gray Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 This one has grabbed me. I've heard it many times, but there are still moments in this song that I scream along to.
Former Member Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 I stumbled on ‘male’ versions of songs by female singers, created through software manipulation to lower the pitch. I had previously been aware of Cher’s ‘male version’ of Strong Enough that adjusted the gender in the song to imply that either the subject or the singer were bisexual. But that was Cher singing in her normal singing range where there are plenty of songs that are modified to make it sound like a female singer is male. I looked, but didn’t notice any Michael Jackson songs that were manipulated in the same way, but there’s Janet Jackson’s Black Cat… ;–)
Former Member Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 @Page Scrawler, I'm sure you know I block autoplay of videos. So I have to go through extra hoops to see what you post. I should have known! But this is a new guy, isn't he? ;–)

Well, he was born in '97, according to his bio. So, he's only four years younger than me, right now. 😂 Edited October 6, 2019 by Page Scrawler 1
Page Scrawler Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 I like the fact that proceeds from this one are going to environmental charities. 1

W_L Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 (edited) Richard Marx's "This I promise you", you might remember the cover by N'Sync 😛 , I thought it N'Sync song but it was written by Richard Marx Also, poor JC, he was just as good as JT (Justin Timberlake), but he's no where nearly as recognizable as a singer. (Heck, him, Justin, and Britney Spears were all in Mickey Mouse Club, think of the pop talent that Disney cultivated in the 90's). Edited October 15, 2019 by W_L 1
