I am off for an emergency dental appointment, however my dentist is closed for the long weekend. In a world where most places are open on Saturday, they are closed. My "Stay" or "Go" lists are getting longer on the GO (to a new dentist) side of things. Anyway, i've never been to this place but it is close by, so we shall see. See you later on. i am so sorry. i hope they were able to help 1 6

Antibotics and that awful mouthwash. Honestly, i don't know what else to do. It sounds like i don't do anything with them. But i do. Anyway, he said, the drugs should get rid of the infection but it's unlikely you'll keep it. I figured that already, but i want to get the other one capped first and then i'll probably get this other one pulled. It can't be saved. Then we'll see what comes next. It's close to my house and they have a medical side and a dental side and there's a pharmacy. No lab, but there's one a short walk away. I might sign up for the family doctor service. It's a nice office and the people were very nice and friendly as well. 2 9 1
Popular Post mollyhousemouse Posted August 1 Popular Post Posted August 1 (edited) Spent a very long week in rural Nebraska paying last respects to Phil's father. Feels good to be back home. Tomorrow i'll have a session with my therapist while He goes to hit golf balls. i think i'll see what red onions are going for and make some pickled onions. i'll get some meal prepping done. chopping onions, maybe scrounging the freezer for stuff to make broth with. Sometimes you can get bags of them for a better price. I do like them pickled or raw in salad...usually with feta cheese and arugula. 1 7

Popular Post Mikiesboy Posted August 2 Author Popular Post Posted August 2 Had enough being in bed.. Got up & ate something, took meds.. Feeling like utter crap atm.. Hopefully the meds get things done soon. Left side of my face hurts.. ugh. i knit a baby cardigan ... but there's a problem with the front panels, need to figure out what, which means frogging them partially, which is fine but i'm not in the mood. I'm also knitting a nice boxy sweater for my mil, nearly finished the front. It's knit from a nice light weight acrylic yarn (she did not want wool). So the pattern calls for a yarn weight of 3 and knit with much larger needles than you'd normally use for this thickness of yarn. The drape is so nice, it's gonna be a yummy sweater i think. 11

It's not any better in Germany, although it rains, it's too hot. And we need more electricity because of summer so it's a vicious circle. 3 1 3

Popular Post kbois Posted August 2 Popular Post Posted August 2 It seems like a lot of us are dealing with various issues. @mollyhousemouse, I'm sorry you've lost your father-in-law. Its always hard losing family. @Cane23 it saddens me to see such drought. When I worked in travel I often booked river cruises for my clients. Its one of those trips that's high on my bucket list. I hope it's still an option if I get the chance to go. @Mikiesboy feel better hon, you deserve some relief from your mouth pain. Can't wait to see how the sweater turns out. Hugs. Xo We managed to get away from stress for a few hours today and went to see Spiderman: Brand New Day. If you like Marvel then you'll like this one. Our theater also has the option of ordering concessions online and having them delivered to your seats. What a nice feature not to have to stand in line! Hopefully the upcoming week will be kind to everyone. 3 7
